awful service! been waiting for weeks for a part under warranty. Avoid purchasing from these people, they do not stick to the warranty on a £4k plus machine /domestic Rocket Bicocca.

My wife purchased a Rocket Bicocca the highest end domestic machine by Rocket. On unpacking the machine after shipping to Crete I found it had damage to the outer SS panels due to the wands not being protected in any way. The response from Baristastore Ritual Barista was that they could not be replaced as the damage should have been identified immediately on delivery. There were mitigating circumstances as to why this did not and could not happen. My respose to the store was as follows:-

The panels were damaged due to poor packaging from the manufacturer. This is without any doubt and clearly shown in the pictures.

The unit was kept in its original shipping packaging until unloading in Crete. The machine panel damage was not noticed and could not be noticed before removing the packaging after shipping to Crete. This was a manufacturer packaging issue.

They should not have any problem in replacing the panels. The machine is under warranty so the panels should be included as a manufacturer defect.

Please send me the full warranty details as everything regarding the machine is in Crete. Be assured I will challenge this all the way if that is required. Ultimately via my litigation department if necessary.

This was a really very expensive gift from my wife and should have been perfect on unpacking. I also find it hard to believe that there are not others who have had the issue albeit that it may come to light sooner due to being unpacked and noticed on delivery.

Mine was a gift for Christmas. Therefore, the November purchase would not have been unpacked until at least 1 month later at the very earliest. It was opened at Christmas but not lifted out of the crate due to it being shipped to Crete.

The machine is relatively new in the marketplace. I am a Rocket fan and am loathe to give bad reviews but am very capable of creating podcasts to show video footage and service feedback if this situation is not resolved to my satisfaction.

I always believed that Rocket was at the very high end of the domestic professional machinery. Perhaps I have been mistaken.

Looking for a particular mid range coffee grinder, in the right colour. Unlike a lot of others they had it in stock, price was good and had the 5% sign up discount. Plenty of methods to pay, used PayPal to give a bit of protection and tracked delivery as a few parcels of mine have been lost recently (not from here). The package arrived on my doorstep the following day before DPD had even had chance to update the app. Will definitely use again.

I bought a Rancilio pro x and a specialita grinder. Both excellent. Delivered quickly from a UK warehouse. very happy.

Also trades as Ritual Barista Store - Postage is three times what it should be and the returns are on a strictly return to base basis. There is far too many better alternatives in a competitive market place. I suggest that you look elsewhere.
