This is a work of art as much as a belt. It’s properly heavy and the leather looks and smells amazing. And it’s only going to get better as it ages. The attention to detail from Barnes and Moore is really impressive. The heavy buckle, and leatherwork are simply beautiful. Even down to the packaging. The belt comes in a cotton bag which is wrapped carefully in tissue paper. There is a little drawstring bag with a small bottle of neatsfoot oil for maintaining the leather. and a leather key fob. Put this next to a belt from mainstream retailers and there is really no comparison, and you can see where you’re extra money has gone. Frankly for something this good looking and well made it feels like a bargain.

I ordered my belt (size 31 - waist size 31”, submariner belt in oak bark conker), on-line, from Barnes & Moore on Friday 28 July and it arrived 2 August - traversing 6,000+ miles from Birmingham U.K. to Denver CO in less than 5 days - that’s fast!! Props to DHL!

I’m originally from the West Midlands U.K. living in the U.S. - I was initially VERY excited to be buying a product with so much heritage, craftspersonage, and representing where we were from. This belt did not disappoint. I am beyond thrilled with this beautiful piece of craft. Something that will last a lifetime. So much so, that I hope to buy another, similar belt, like this again. I’ve purchased 2 different card wallets. These items are truly luxury items- made from shell cordovan leather (best in the world) by hand and finished beautifully. The materials and craftsmanship make a mockery of what sold as “designer” accessories. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.
