Ordered 2 Avocet locks. Delivered promptly and as specified.

No issues.

Prominently advertises cost of X3 abloy sentry key as £7.60 through search engine techniques like bait, but its website then says to get this price you need to buy 100 (one hundred). Real cost is £17 with postage. Or £760 to get one hundred duplicates of the same key.

Ordered key-aliked locks in September and had no issue with order other than vat was not applied to costs until final payment which meant I paid more than I planned. Delivery was fine.
In December I ordered replacement keys. They were dispatched the same day. The keys were never delivered. I queried and was told a number of orders had gone missing and to leave it as they should turn up. I left it 1 month. I was then told the keys must be missing and they would replace the order. The order however was addressed to my house and therefore my house keys are missing with my home address. They simply said this was my fault as I should have delivered to an alternative address. I asked could they re-do an order with with a discount recognising the inconvenience. They offered to re-key my locks - baring in mind it would take a few days and I would be left without any lock on an external door. I had no option but to ask for a refund on my key order and use an alternative company for the £400 order to replace all my locks. I do take some responsibility here but the company really didnt seem to care about the massive inconvenience or indeed risk they put me in. Their website is glossy, their infrastructure appears much less organised, using gmail for their email. I would avoid.

When keys I ordered didn't work properly they were able to not only explain why but also to offer me a solution which was both prompt and free of charge. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Not only are their prices reasonable and in fact very competitive but their customer service is second to none.

I ordered some new keys for a secure coded lock, they were significantly cheaper than the manufacturer for the cost of the keys. The keys arrived the day after I ordered them (outstanding given how late I placed the order). When I opened the package I mistakenly thought only 3 of the 6 I had purchased arrived.

Thinking this I emailed the company and the amazing Kaye responded almost immediately trying to ascertain what could have caused this, especially a concern as missing keys in the post could cause a security concern.

In the end I found the missing keys which I had accidentally dropped out of sight when opening the package. But the response from Kaye showed me that the company clearly cares about its customers and therefore I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

They have the trifecta of great prices, great service (& quality) and great speed! What more can you ask for!

I used this company back in 2015 for new Avocet locks for all outside doors for both my house & mother in laws. just come back to them for a couple of spare keys, so easy provided the security number & keys provided as stated within 48 hours. Excellent service on both occasions. thanks

Second time I have used this company to get keys cut for my property. I work abroad and need additional keys for properties at times. The process just works, is slick, service quick and at a good price. I don’t need to look elsewhere as this company does what it says and does it well. Keep it up guys.

We were told by our local locksmiths that it was impossible to get duplicate Chubb Biaxial Keys any more.
After an email enquiry, Barnsley Lock & Safe Co requested photo of original security card and the key to be copied.
Prompt return by email, confirmed that the key could duplicated by sending the key by post.
Two days later we had confirmation that the key had been received and decoded, a security number was issued. The same day we ordered 12 duplicate keys the order was acknowledged and after 2 more days the duplicate keys arrived.
Prompt hassle free service.
Saved us changing locks on 2 security doors and numerous padlocks.

Ordered 2 Chubb biaxall keys from Barnsley Lock & Safe Company , great communication an and service keys arrived today . Only problem was Royal Mail waited over 3 days for delivery from Keys arriving at our Local Hub Barnsley Lock Company got order dispatched promptly 👏👏👏👏
