Charged me the full amount right before Christmas after a trial (which id tried to cancel on the website), meaning I’ve paid 37£ to read one article. Told me they’d refund in good faith and then said they has ‘issues’ and stopped responding. Never got my refund. Literally has put me under so much stress right before Christmas. May be considered a good site, poor ethics.

Trash customer service. I thought I canceled my $7 trial before it was renewed. I contacted them immediately when I noticed they charged me $29.95. They were less than helpful, and I'm out $30 for absolutely nothing.

First of all, forget this company and use CHEGG. This company does not care about or value their customers. They said I allegedly signed up for this account and a 30-day trial through my school as an add-on purchase to my school textbooks. Additionally, I never even set up/made an account or registered through their site, and they couldn't even find a subscription on their end either. They started charging me on 5/24, meaning my free trial would've started on 4/24. They said they have a "proper" way of starting subscriptions and would've sent me a confirmation email... never received that, but somehow I had one from January, 3 months PRIOR to this alleged subscription. That doesn't add up to their supposed timeline of starting in April. But again, this email from January said I still needed to make an account and register, so I have no clue how I could be charged for a non-existent account and subscription. They also included in an email back to me an "image similar to the authorization prompt you agreed to when signing up" on the "customer-facing pin pads". I explained that there were no pin pads as the first week of a 30,000+ student campus is hectic and they bring in plastic set-up tables with iPads. Additionally, they said they take their security and proper subscription process very seriously, but I don't know how 18-year-old freshman volunteers using an iPad constitutes "security" and being "proper" when I never once agreed or accepted this subscription, let alone saw anything similar to the image they included in the email. I repeatedly told them I never once pressed an accept button for this stupid subscription, never made an account on their website, and never wanted a subscription. They refuse to give me my money back for something I didn't set up, let alone use. I honestly didn't even know what Bartleby was until I saw the recurring charge on my card and looked into it. As a full-time student in an ABSN program about to start full-time rotations/clinicals, I could use every penny in my bank account, including the $70 they stole from me. I would never use this website or company and would invest my money into CHEGG instead. Additionally, Chegg has given me my money back on multiple occasions.

I was charged $29.95 to my credit card when I was only supposed to be charged $7 for 7 day trial. I cancelled when I was supposed to - and now the person that I am emailing with is being argumentative and refusing to refund my money. Would definitely not recommend.

This website is a scam! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, they wont let me reset my password after spending money just to scam me. Stay away

The people who created this site probably won't even read this, but it is worth a shot. I am a 15 year old sophomore who is in integrated 2 when I should be retaking integrated 1. I am horrible at math and all I want is to find at least one math help site that doesn't require me to frickin' pay to LEARN! I have plans for my future, but if I can't get good grades, especially in math, then I won't be able to get where I want to go in life. So thanks for that!!! You guys (the people who created this stupid scam site) should be ashamed of yourselves for thinking that anyone like me can afford a site like this! My family doesn't have money, but here you guys are scamming people into having to pay for this crap! You people are just like every other math site I have tried to use. ALL YOU WANT IS MONEY!!!!! MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!! You guys aren't even really trying to help people. It's all about MONEY!

I never have any account with them, don't need any study, suddenly my ATM bank got recurring charge monthly for online study since Feb, it goes unnoticed until now. I have to cancel my ATM, and trying to get my money back.

This is a scam. They make you spend your money. You cancel your subscription without even using their services for over a year because their platform is useless. After a year, you see that they have the audacity to charge you again! You complain about it, but they do not send your money back! #### this platform!!!!!

100% all the good reviews are fake, if you look every single one of those people have only written 1 review before which indicates that they're not real people.
Anyways I saw I got charged £30, I then searched up the website because I did not recognise it at all, and I did not recognise it either when I searched it up. I then tried to log in to see what email this was linked with, I tried both my emails and none of them were linked to this website. So I don't even have an account and somehow ended up being charged. Scam Scam Scam. I read that they refuse to give refunds so I will dispute it and report it via by bank.
