Absolutely shite

Absolutely shite! Wouldn’t travel with them again..flew to the Maldives from Perth west Australia.. plane delayed by 3.5 hours .. no meals included, no inflight entertainment.. wouldn’t accept our credit cards for the cold unappealing meal we ordered .. had to pay cash to be told no change ! Four flights and everyone of them delayed! Don’t use them.. this is a low budget airline , it was our golden wedding anniversary, had we been told this airline was like flying jet star we’d not have gone anywhere near it !

Scammers and unqualified

Batik Airlines cancelled our flight by an entire day last minute, giving our plane to another group that had been stranded at the airport for a day beforehand. Failed to manage anything and wouldn't refund because of a policy where they didn't have to provide compensation if they claimed a delay then cancelled. The staff lied about the availability of a plane and didn't provide information about the location of our luggage nor would they cooperate. Fckn worst experience. Avoid at all costs and pick a more trustworthy airline.

The worst airline ever exist!!

Shutdown batik air, they are not suitable to be an airline.

They've treated us like we are some kind of amimal.

They name batik is a Joke!!

These took me hostage in the airplane for 2 long hours, and cancelled the flight with a really rude behaviour, now im sleeping in the airport, they didn’t even refund my the money for dinner. We are stranded on an airport with no where to go.

Don't fly with them, cheap airlines with cheap management.

Owner of batik Airlines should step down and close the business

The worst airline - avoid at all costs

The worst and most ridiculous airline. The 7-kg carry-on limit is a joke, and they tried to enforce it. Every passenger ended up taking their clothes out of the carry-on suitcase and putting the clothes on their bodies so that the suitcase would weigh closer to 7 kg. How ridiculous! The airline tried to charge me US$10 for each kilogram over the 7-kg limit. I will never fly this ridiculous airline again! Batik is annoying!!!

I called up customer service a MS

I called up customer service a MS. SHASHA handled my call. I didnt know how to print my ticket. She was patient and had a voice that was not belittling me and she went thru the process in an excellent manner.

STAY AWAY!

Worst expeerience with any airline. Flight delayed by 5 hours. Booking cancellation accepeted but Batik Air did not refund me in full. Avoid at all costs! Pay more to fly with an actual airline.

The most horrific and incompetent…

The most horrific and incompetent customer service I’ve ever received. They take weeks to respond to your emails and when they do they don’t read them, or just ignore it and offer ‘sincere apologies’ - I don’t want an apology I want you to fix your mistake. Airport staff are clueless, unhelpful and give out wrong information. Truly appalling. I’ve flown with many budget airlines in the past but this is by far the worst and the first time I can confidently say I will never fly with them again. I’d rather walk than have to deal with the stress, inconvenience and incompetence of this airline.

had the most frustrating and exhausting…

had the most frustrating and exhausting experience with Batik Air. My flight was scheduled for 9 p.m. yesterday, and they made all the passengers wait until 1 a.m., only to announce that the flight was canceled due to the lack of a crew — yes, you read that right: no crew available.

Instead of offering proper care or communication, they took us to a dirty, low-quality hotel that felt like a bad joke. Then, they woke us up at 4 a.m. (yes, just 3 hours later) to head back to the airport.

Now it’s 10 a.m. the next day, and we’re still stuck at the airport with no information, no updates, and STILL no pilot. It’s been over 12 hours of chaos, no proper rest, and zero accountability from the airline.

This is by far the worst travel experience I’ve ever had. Poor planning, horrible customer service, and total disregard for passengers’ time and well-being. I will never fly Batik Air again, and I strongly suggest you don’t either.

I recently travelled from London to…

I recently travelled from London to Penang with a transit in Kuala Lumpur. While the journey presented some unexpected challenges, the professionalism and support from the ground staff helped ease the situation.

Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur, I was informed that I needed to collect my checked luggage and recheck it at the Batik Air counter. Unfortunately, I was later told that my luggage had not been loaded onto the connecting flight to Penang. This was quite a shock, especially since the booking was made via Trip.com, where this process had not been clearly communicated.

However, I was fortunate to be assisted by Ms. Cecelia Ivy, a member of the ground staff, who was both courteous and efficient. She patiently listened to our concerns, clearly explained the situation, and offered helpful recommendations to manage the issue. Her professionalism and empathy were truly commendable and made a significant difference during a stressful moment.

Although the luggage issue was disappointing, the excellent service provided by Ms. Cecelia Ivy deserves to be acknowledged. Her assistance reflects a high standard of customer care and is a credit to the team.

horrific airline BATIK AIR

horrific airline! Worst one I’ve ever experienced. Avoid at all costs.

Me (I am pregnant with twins) my partner and 10 month old baby recently flew from Krabi to KL - Kl to Denpasar. In Krabi our flight was delayed by 2 hours which we only found out once getting to the airport. We were left with no help and provided with a disgusting snack box for 2 - when asked if they could provide milk for our baby we were told no and to give her the snack box (unacceptable sugar snacks).

When arriving for our connecting flight in KL we were then told that the flight had been cancelled with no real explanation as to why (operational issues). At 7pm we were told it would take 45 minutes to sort new flights for the next day. We expressed our concern as we had a very tired baby and had no milk to give her and asked if we could get some (we were told they didn’t know at the airport how to get milk). 2 hours later we left the airport due to no communication with staff and no urgency to get the process sorted so we could get to our hotel. We arrived at the hotel e for us at 10pm! Again I asked for milk to give my baby and was told they only had soy milk (I had no choice and this made my baby sick). We were given a tiny room, no baby cot and we were told we could only have 1 meal voucher for 3. My partner demanded we get 2 for the 2 adults at least. The menu was restricted to 5 items only and my partner could not eat due to gluten intolerance and when explained we were told the hotel could not help other then provide fruit (not good enough but we guessed this is what has been agreed with batik and the hotel itself).

The next day we flew from KL to Bali - on the flight I became ill (24 hrs with little rest, highly stressed and no food to eat for 16 hours and heavily pregnant with twins) I had asked the air steward for a bottle of water and was told they could not provide one unless we paid. My partner explained that I was ill and needed to hydrate due to being pregnant and they still said not unless we paid. We asked to pay by card as we had no cash. They told us that their card machine was out of service. This left me with no water even under the extreme circumstances until a kind passenger bought me a bottle after over heating the conversation. If it wasn’t for him I’d probably have passed out on that flight.

We also witnessed one of the air stewards tell another passenger she couldn’t help with his request because she couldn’t hear him due to a burst eardrum. To me that screams dangerous actions, because of there was to have been an emergency she wouldn’t have been fit for service and could have made matters worse by not being able to hear.

Finally, a day after arriving at our destination I filed a complaint and requested a refund yet was told we wouldn’t be allowed a refund. I sent another complaint demanding not only an explanation and apology for the poor service but also requesting compensation for the stress caused to me and my family - 3 weeks later I’ve received 3 emails all telling the same thing “we are dealing with your complain and it’s being looked at”.

It shouldn’t take 3 nearly 4 weeks to respond to a complaint with some form of apology and offer of goodwill/compensation.

Their service was unacceptable, dangerous and put me and my baby & unborn babies at harm by not providing a suitable service! Appalling from a company in 2025. Never ever again.

We are content creators and will continue to spread the recommendations to never fly with this airline

BATIK is a scam

Worst booking experience ever.
BATIK is a scam. They take your money, offer no help when things go wrong, and completely ignore refund requests. My flight was cancelled MONTHS ago and they’ve done nothing but pass the blame. AVOID THIS AIRLINE at all costs.

Would have give 0 star if I could

I lost my package inside the cabin and try reaching out to them. Until today still no response from them. Customer service is sucks. You could get to them by any ways. Whatsapp live chat replied to your 'Hi' after 6 hour and then gone forever after you replied to them. Please avoid this air by any change. Better go for air asia.
