Selling items on Ebay that they do not actually have in stock, seriously compromising people who need these batteries like yesterday. They then cancel the order and you have to wait 3-5 days to get your money back! Bit of a problem if you need that money now to pay for one somewhere else, from a proper firm who can actually supply what they say they sell!
Seriously guys this needs to stop and stop now! You should be ashamed of yourselves and judging by the reviews this practice is, rightly, starting to catch up with you now.

Excellent price and battery arrived next working day, well packed, via a tracked courier.

I purchased a AGM car battery from BatteriesOnTheWeb before taking the time to read the reviews, very unlike me as that is what I do normally. I was amazed how many bad reviews, scared actually especially as it was an expensive battery like most AGM's.
I ordered on the Monday and the battery was with me by the Thursday arrived via UPS. I received an email from them saying the order had been received and being processed. I called them on the phone the following day to get an idea when delivery will be, they said normally next day but this one will come direct so will take a few days longer, which was fine.
From start to finish it was brilliant with no issues and a fast turn around. I would definitely use them again. Even better the fact of supporting local independent commerce, something within this pandemic I feel is needed as part of keeping them going and keeping people in jobs.

Battery did not arrive on due day.

Customer service poor (promised to phone back in afternoon but did not). Didn't seem he was customer services.

No tracking (tracker simply said despatched). No way of knowing when or if this is to be delivered.

If this package was going to be delayed there is no excuse for not providing information to this effect to save customer waiting around all day for something that may never arrive.

The courier they used, TX also seem to have negative feedbacks. Would not have used the firm if I knew this was the courier.

Completely unimpressed.

Its quite simple, if there are to be delays tell the customer!!!

The firm cannot blame the courier its still their responsibility.

Clearly on cannot trust this firm if the item becomes faulty so I think its going to be returned if and when it arrives.

I bought a battery for my golf trolley in Feb 2020 at the start of lockdown. Since then I have used it very little probably only for about 7 or 8 months. For the past 2 months I have started to do 18 holes instead of 13 and the battery will now not hold its charge for a full round. I wrote to this company and asked if they would replace the battery given how long I have used it for. All I received back from them was a nasty reply accusing me of abusing the battery and saying that a warranty is a warranty and don't expect anything back from them! Disgusting customer service!!!! Given the fact that my previous golf trolley battery is 5 years old and had been charged up 2 or 3 times a week I have every right to think the batteries this company provides are cheap copies of Lucas batteries and not fit for purpose. Stay clear of this company and buy your batteries from someone else. They are unacceptably rude and their products are not fit for purpose. I bought this battery from their Ebay shop for around £40 and they are now selling them on the same site for £139!! Profiteering or what!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

They sent the wrong battery. No apology or offer to help - just said ‘6ah is nothing, send it back if you don’t want it’. Also I’m not totally convinced it’s a genuine Lucas battery - packaging / branding does look right. Would not use these jokers again.

I initially gave this company a good review because I foolishly thought that they were helpful and efficient. I purchased a set of batteries for a particular mobility scooter which were described as a replacement set of batteries for my mobility scooter, but it turned out they were the wrong ones! When I called them they very quickly identified the correct item to order and pay for, and was told that the courier will take back the wrong batteries and I will receive a refund. Anyway I am now six weeks down the line and many phone calls and broken promises about posting a returns label to me , waiting in for full days at a time for a courier who never arrives. Wish I had read these reviews before ordering, like many companies the real test of their integrity is resolving problems when things go wrong, and this company doesn’t seem to have any commitment to doing that,
Part 2, ironically 3hrs after posting this review a courier turns up at the door with a returns label to collect the items to be returned, so I will keep you updated if I get a refund,?
Part 3. It's now 10 days since batteriesonthe web received my return package . Signed for by Al. But despite phone calls and providing proof of postage I am still no further forward regarding my refund 😡, another phone call this morning told that they will look into it and call me back. Very poor customer service they just keep fobbing you off.

I bought a battery from these people and it's a total duff.
It charges up then fails I've had it tested locally and the battery is faulty I will be calling trading standards as it a faulty battery and not fit for purpose.
I cant send it back for them to check because it's not a sealed battery and the courier refuses to deliver it.
What a total con and waste of money I'm into helping small businesses but people like this put you off ....stay well clear of these people!!!!!!

Echo all negative comments; Avoid this company at all costs.
They take your money then ignore all correspondence.
Go elsewhere and save yourself an headache.

Payed £75 for 3 batteries didn't receive said was out off stock would send them on next delivery then after that no reply absolutely joke waste off time let alone money!

considering the virus situation , top service , slight delivery delay as too be expected .but nothing is perfect at the moment . Well packaged and top value for budget battery , in time will see how good it is , easy to contact if any problems and query handled in a polite and friendly manner ,so service is highly recommended and would buy again from this company . as a trader need batteries every so often .

Purchased a battery on 8th Apr. and still didn't received my order. Contacted them several times asking for tracking info or help to locate my order. Got tracking for some unknown company ( DX Delivery ) who is impossible to be contacted...
Customer service and support doesn't exist by them. If they reply you only get an arrogant answer which I did:

Btw I was at home every single day every day since the estimated delivery date as my car doesn't have a battery and it's lockdown...
In overall my experience wit this company is BAD!

Communication with custumers who give them the living is a JOKE

Upon placing the order of a car battery, I was surprised to see that the online and email order confirmations did not contain the model number of the product I ordered only a description which could have been a description for many. It also only showed the billing address and not the delivery address. It was at this point, I had a bad feeling in my bones about how well this transaction would go and whether I did the right thing in choosing Batteries on the Web.
I had also entered a note on the online order form regarding delivery dates that was completely ignored.
There was an issue with the order in that it was attempted to be delivered to the billing address specified rather than the delivery address. I was told by Batteries on the Web that this had been rectified, but with no proof, so can’t be sure if the remaining issues were down to the courier or them. I was at the delivery address when it was stated delivery attempts had be made, but no one came and no cards were left at any time.
Overall, communications from the company were very poor: no apology was ever made for my inconvenience, there did not seem to be any sense of urgency to correct the problems with my order and it was always left for me to chase the latest status. It was probably the same person who I communicated with via email over the circa 5 week ordeal, but had never put their name on any of them.
When told that the courier was sending the item back to them, I asked for a refund. No response via email, but at least I was refunded the money a week later.

Bought a car battery on 30th December 2018 on e bay. Car not used much and went flat so thought must be another problem, not the battery as new. Garage tried to find fault but could not. Battery re-charged ok for a few days then flat. Kept happening. Garage tested battery and said faulty and replaced. Batteries on the web had battery back and confirmed faulty. I had spent over £200 because of the problem and they said my hard luck. They said would repay the cost of £73 to paypal if I raised a dispute. Now over 160 days so could not do this with paypal or ebay. They ignore emails and don't refund. DO NOT TRUST OR DEAL WITH THEM AS THEY DO NOT DO WHAT THEY SAY

Bought this as replacement battery for mobile phone. The standard battery is 2900 mAh the Losoncoer offers 3400mAh.
Sadly it's a blatant Chinese marketing lie. It lasts less time than the one year old battery I was replacing. The capacity is nothing like 3400mAh. The manufacture cannot even spell battery correctly. "BUSINESS BATTER" Just don't buy and try and get an original you will get a better product.

Bought a Golf battery from here, Seemed a bit sluggish from day one, I persevered thinking it would benefit from a few charges. laid it up on charge for winter. started using again in the spring, after playing once a week for a month battery shot, only does 9 holes. Guess what? out of warranty. Contacted shop, but not interested, basically saying I got what I paid for.
I normally get 3 to 10 years out of a golf trolley barttery.
This was a well known brand as well. mmm?

Definitely use again - great pricing AND amazing service - their guy drove a 6hr round trip in the snow on Sunday to get my boat batteries to me within 48hrs of order!

Ordered battery for child's Electric car 10 July. After many contacts a second was dispatched....then a third. On the 10 August I gave up and ordered from another supplier. Guess what, on the 13 August a battery arrived from these people. I'm sure they will say the fault is with Royal Mail. So change your delivery agent!
