My last 4 tins of Baxters over priced soup.. Chicken Broth - rotten veg was found. Cockaleekie soup - soil grit found in the leeks because of the way they cut and prep the leeks. You are not suppose... See more

Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney no flavour slop Pie
Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney Pie. At least I thought I would taste the Kidney, No, No taste to the steak either. Just slops with no flavour what so ever. Just close your factory down and stop conning the public. Took 2 mouth fulls, through out for the Fox. Sorry to the Fox.

How disappointing OF THIS PRODUCT we bought tomato and chicken soup for a £1 each I feel like I've been robbed this product needs to be recalled and thrown in the bin Baxter's food group shame on you for letting this product hit our shelf.
You really need to buy other soups from Aldi and Lidl as these are so much cheaper and so much better shame your head tester didn't do any home work on this product. Even my cat tried the chicken soup and walked away and that's noway normal as she loves chicken soup.
Sorry about the totally bad review.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED 100%
Fray Bentos chicken soup - missing the chicken
We recently bought a can of Fray Bentos creamy chicken soup from b&m. We thought we'd try a can to compare to other varieties. Upon opening the can, it had no smell whatsoever... Nothing, apart from a slight oil smell. Therefore I wasn't hopeful it would taste ok. However I continued to heat it up hoping with everything crossed, that it would taste of something. Alas I was disappointed, a small taste showed no taste, not a chicken in sight. I really believe the chicken ingredients had been forgotten. I think it was a dodgy batch but don't know how to advise them, apart from this review.
Therefore please note, the soup was terrible, I couldn't give it to my animals either. It was awful, tasting of nothing but oil. Hopefully one day I may try again, but will stick to heinz chicken soup for the time being. Fray bentos chicken soup was terrible this time around.
I was a great scotch broth fan but now…
I was a great scotch broth fan but now it horrendous. It used to be a nice thick soup. Now like water the peas remained like bullets. It was so bad I had to check sell buy date. AWFUL
All u can taste is pepper.
They are now putting to much pepper in a lot of their soups the Scotch broth that was one of the milder ones now to much pepper, no pepper listed in the Lentil & vegetable soup so thought I'd try it absolutely vile all u can taste is pepper and nothing else not purchasing any more. Pepper not to everyone's taste even the minestrone just pepper since when was minestrone soup meant to be peppery.
Looks like sick, tastes just as bad
Tried the Fray Bentos Lentil and Vegetable soup. Absolutely do not buy. Came out the tin looking like sick, tasted just as bad. No flavour and really grainy. Doesn't look like the picture on the tin, it isn't smooth at all really lumpy.
Disappointing.
For the first time today I was going to…
For the first time today I was going to try the Baxter's cream of tomato soup, and when I noticed how much sugar was in one tin, I was totally shocked. 20g of sugar, I couldn't believe it. A chef once told me, if you use quality ingredients, you don't need to use so much sugar.

Baxter’s Carrot & Butter Bean Soup
Baxter’s Carrot & Butter Bean Soup
Nice but the butter beans were undercooked. A little too Al dente for my palate
Poor quality Product & Lacklustre Customer Service
I recently purchased 6 400g cans of Baxters Scotch Broth from my local store. In each case, the Soup proved to be very watery and the Peas contained in the Soup were hard and like bullets to chew. I raised my concerns with Baxters Customer Care, only to be met with a most unhelpful and dismissive response to the legitimate concerns raised and brought to the Company's attention.
Baxters French Onion Soup
I cannot understand the negative reviews for
Baxters French Onion Soup.Have the doubters ever tried others of the same type.
The consistency is as it should be.
Plenty of onions at the right ratio.
Taste is excellent.one of Baxters best.
I eat it regularly with salt.pepper and a shake
of parmesan.Always hits the spot.
I used to to buy baxters soup regulary
I used to to buy baxters soup regulary. Started making own soups, really good. I thought i would try Baxters Mulligatawny soup for the first time. Absolute rubbish. Like watered down french onion. Not on my shopping list any more. Really disappointed.
What has happened to Baxters' soups
What has happened to Baxters' soups? Today I paid £1.90p for a tin of lentil and bacon soup - which we used to love - and we feel we've been "had". It is thin and tasteless, no sign of lentil or bacon, indeed I would guess the content is 95% water.
I will not be buying their soups again - they charge premium prices for dire quality.
Baxters Carrot and Coriander soup
Baxters Carrot and Coriander soup. Watery tasteless soup. Rubbish
Baxters C a leeekie
Baxters C a leekie soup used to be a delight. The last six tins I bought, all have a problem with the tiny pieces of chicken being very tough and gristly. Quite different from the tender scraps previously in this soup.
I feel different or cheaper chicken is being used and this has ruined the soup. So much so I shall have to stop buying this product.
Awful brand - avoid!
Just had awful chicken meatballs in swedish style gravy, I wouldn't give my dog this tasteless rubbish. And their pies are now nothing to get excited about. I won't ever buy this brand again.
Fay bentos pies are just full of gravy…
Fay bentos pies are just full of gravy no meat what so ever
They have went downhill massively since being bought over by baxters
Waist of money now
Tasteless mushroom soup
Tasteless, watery soup with no taste of mushroom. Very disappointing. I used to think Baxters soups were too salty; now they even seem to have eliminated the salt (but not replaced it with anything). Don't waste your money. A bowl of hot water will taste the same and cost a lot less.
I used to be a great fan of Baxters…
I used to be a great fan of Baxters soups but have not bought any for the last 8 years as I now live in Cyprus and have not seen it here - however last week I was so excited to find a small Supermarket that stocked it and I bought 16 cans of various fillings/flavours - total disaster hardly any ingredients in any of them - little flavour - weak and watery - nothing like the photos on the can - in fact it appears to be a huge con !!! - totally shocked and will never buy any of such rubbish again!
