We booked our villa suite on Expedia in hopes of a relaxing stay lounging by the pool, outside dining, and views of the ocean. However, upon arrival we were told that the restaurant and bar were closed and that we could walk over to the other hotel to use their beach. The walk was along the road from the airport for about 10 min. The pools were dirty w/ leaves and brush floating in the bottom, the walkway to our room was long, counted about 15 cats, with cat poo and urine smell along the walkway to our villa. The lights along the pathway were broken, very dark at night. The pathway was old and worn down, the stairs to our villa were broken. The wooden railings were rotted that upon gripping the railing, my fiancé thumb went thru it, He also fell on those steps walking up and down them, Our balcony fence was broken, a small child could of fallen thru, plummeting down the hillside. The sliding glass doors had no screens in them to allow to keep open to listen to the waves in the bay at night. The internet was down the entire 4 day stay, the walls are paper thin, can hear everything that goes on in the next room. The water to shower is not hot, luke warm at best, lights above bed did not all work, toilet was broken, the fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling, dresser drawers broken, outlets not charging cell phone, limited muffins and coffee for breakfast. We went down at 9 a.m. and told they were out, vending machine broken. NO handicap parking, in the morning the workers were throwing these huge rocks down a make shift slide made out of a tin roof at 9 a.m. awaking anyone who was still asleep. This place is very run down and falling apart. Expedia makes it look like paradise from the pictures, thats why we booked here, however we were deeply unsatisfied with out stay. The place needs either upgraded or condemed! Shame on Expedia for misleading people with your false advertisements!!!
