Please do not sign your end of lease inspection you will have been duped!!

We had an end of lease inspection and where totally duped! Please be aware!!! We were shown a few items on an iPad, which we agreed with and asked to sign. I was then sent an email detailing over £2300 worth of damage! I’m so cross and totally in shock! This is our 6th lease car and Ive never ever had this before. How this company sleeps at night is beyond me, because now I can’t sleep with a £2000 plus damage bill to fight!!! Luckily I have photo evidence of my car plus CCTV evidence. Why do the the lease company’s use the auction house inspection service and not an independent one I will never know!! Total and utter scam artists!

Difficult to give even a 1 star

Difficult to give even a 1 star. .. shockingly poor service .. If you bid on a car you are bidding against the auction which in the vast majority of times actually own the car through various companies like we buy any car etc. Auctions are meant to be impartial which this is not the case with BCA. Vehicle appraisals can be significantly different to its actual condition and even obvious damage is many times overlooked or the photos are taken in poor light or at angle that it is impossible to make a judgment of its actual condition. You are buying solely online and as such you are totally reliant on their appraisal.
The basic essential check is a total waste of £9 as any dealer will tell you that they would want a healthy engine and gearbox rather than know that the n/s front wing mirror works?.
The auction is fully aware in my opinion of serious faults and choose not to disclose that to their loyal customers. If you are new to the motor trade my advise would be to source stock from BCA with extreme caution.

Helpful Bristol staff

I haven’t actually brought a car from BCA but when there was a paperwork mix up with we buy any car (they kept the log book with our personalised plates, even thought we wanted to retain them, as well as the log book with the original plates) I went up to the Bristol branch to try and sort it out. I found Winston on the gate so friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond in trying to sort this out for us out. I can’t thank him and Sharon (who I didn’t actually meet but works in the office) enough. You are an absolute credit to the company. Thank you.

BCA CROOKS,AVOID

Don't have these crooks BCA pick up your car after lease or pcp term. Just a bunch of fraudulent crooks who add damage charges to your account after second inspection, even though on the first inspection there weren't any charges. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

SCAMMERS.MAKE YOU PAY FOR FAKE REPORTS AND FAKE BIDIDNG

Bought about 15 cars over a 6 month period. Nothing heavy but when you are paying for a report you expect it to be accurate don't you??!!

Anyway I persisted for a while even though some was fit for scrap even though I was paying about 2k with clean reports.
Final straw was taking 2 cars both had major problems but guess what with clean reports. One had no lights working at all and the petrol cap wouldn't open. The other had plycords coming out of the tyres even though they had been given like 5mm each.

My beef is the reports are obviously fake and the bidding is extremely fake. I've seen cars go through over and over until they get what they want I guess.

The final car I bought I have told the to F#ck off I ain't paying as they didn't give a crap when I told and complained about the major issues that wasn't declared on the report I PAID FOR!
Anyway, they reckon they are taking me to court now for £350 quid they lost on it when it went back through. Still no proof of this etc

I'll fight the Feckers all the way. If I have to go to court I'll just tell them to look on here ag all these horrors stories.

I'm done with thr trade now it's more hassle than it's worth. The money is nice but the stress isn't worth it

Defleet by BCA

So, we've had a GLA on lease for 3 years, hassle free...expensive to service, but hey it was fine.

Fine until we had to return the car at the end of the lease, and then we had to deal with DEFLEET by BCA, who are Useless, Inept, Incompetent, Amateurish, Rubbish, Poor, Unhelpful, Substandard, Inferior, Inadequate, and these are their best points.

They're still trying to collect the car from us today 8/2, even though it was returned and accepted 29/1; and now I'm getting "If we don’t hear from you, we’ll give your details to Mercedes-Benz Finance and they’ll pass your details to their specialist collection agents"...

So apparently a specialist collection agent is going to be employed to collect the car which was returned 10 days ago...that'll be interesting!!! maybe they think I've stolen it (although I have the paperwork to prove return) or maybe eaten it ;-)

1 STAR, only because I cannot give ZERO!

No point for assured reports they mean nothing. 3 nissan quashqai purchased with all 3 having major mechanical issues. No refunds for 10 days and they sent an RAC man to do a report yet his report they didn't like so I've been ordered to do another before they can consider a refund for the others. BCA is a total scumbag outfit. Live auctions will never come back because BCa can make more money ripping off the small trader without them. Scumbags. 20k tied up for nothing but a headache.

Usual auction business

Decent car prices not really trade, would only buy from actually viewing beforehand. As a whole company they are fraudulent in many ways from their reports, auctioner rasing pricing and after care just to name a few.
If buying expect the worst. But pray for the best👌🏽

I think dealers should get together and…

I think dealers should get together and have a firm of solicitors representing them. They are taking advantage of dealers below average intelligence and expanding by the minute at their expense. How can dealers let those criminal crooks get away with selling them piles of scrap at top prices. Look at the liability dealers face when selling a vehicle to members of public. 6 months warranty and sometimes exceeding the value of the vehicle, when customers claim for car rental whilst vehicle being repair, distress, recovery charge, over night hotel stay and taxi fare to go to garage to collect vehicle after repair. Yes I had to pay £2700 repair money plus consequential losses to a customer who purchased a BMW 1 series 11 plate for 4500! Out of 12 cars purchased last month, 3 had major gear box and engine issues. Returned to site but the criminal started charging me storage for refusing to collect them. I have 12 cars with issues sitting in my yard, 3 in the auction that is 15 totalling 95k of dead money. Cowboy style business and surprised trading standards and other government agencies chasing up and punishing dealers firmly and turn a blind eyes on auction houses who make millions weekly. We should have the right to reject any vehicle that has a major undeclared issues within 24 hours of receipt. Dealers should fight to have this right. This is a right not a privilege. We are paying hard earned money to make ends meet. We should not let those criminal mafia to enjoy 5 star life style at our expense. Remember, they are car dealers and should have some obligations to their buyers. They are collecting thousands of vehicles weekly at less than half what they sell them for to us. Fight to remove their right to SOLD AS SEEN. There is not much to be seen online. Time to fight for our rights. We should get a firm of solicitors to represent us and claim every penny we lose from them. Remember, solicitors can claim their fees from them so we do not lose out. Once they know dealers are represented, they will stop messing about.

Bca customer services

Phoned bca customer service to get an updated invoice to include any storage charges(if any) only to be put through to a guy who without taking about any details straight away said that there is nothing I can do to help, you have to contact the branch you bought vehicles from and then cut my call.
I then telephoned back after a couple of minutes and spoke to a young lady called ‘brooke’ who was very polite and helpful and resolved the matter there and then. She is an absolute credit to bca who is giving bca customers a very high standard of customer service.

AFTER SALES SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT

I have bought countless cars out of this Auction that have had major problems too many to list .I recently bought a car that was a runner when I went to collect it twice they couldnt get it going and it was in the non runner department, and bought in as a non runner ,They said I had to take it and I refused, they said they would get it running and deliver, after two failed transport attempts they did and they started it with easy start to get off the transporter, i drove it down the road every light on the dash came on including take to main dealer EPS ABS EML AND A HORRIBLE NOISE FROM THE GEARBOX, they will not return my calls they dont want to know ,Buying on line is very hard, as you do not see or hear the vehicle and you know if you have a problem they will do nothing they really do not care
