I had bilateral arthrosamid injections
I had bilateral arthrosamid injections. I experienced extreme pain and disability. It's been almost 5 months and I am much worse off after the injections. The doctors have stopped communicating with me as I have asked for information. I can no longer go for walks or stand for long periods of time. I was able to walk 4 to 5 miles before the injections. They said they would change their protocol after my adverse outcome and let people know that these injections can cause pain and swelling for many months and even permanently. They have been very unhelpful with information or suggestions to improve my situation. I can't go to a doctor in the US who is familiar with arthrosamid because it isn't approved in the US. My life has been drastically been altered. I have moderate to severe knee OA and these injections work best for mild to moderate. They should have warned me.
