At a time when mental health trainers/ consultants seem to be everywhere, it can be difficult to find ones that truly stand out - and that's what makes BDLD different. We are a two-man social enterprise that brings not just the knowledge and skills, but also a dynamic, thought provoking and, dare we say it, fun atmosphere to our delivery. Whether it's accredited programmes such as Mental Health First Aid, Government courses such as Enhanced Mental Health training or our own, bespoke, workshops, Big Dog Little Dog ensures that all learners return to work with the skills/knowledge needed to do things differently. Otherwise, why bother?

Bring back the big dog
A two day very intensive course. I’m glad it was spread over three days because I was mentally fatigued after day one. I’m not used to being taught in acronyms so I found that challenging (it must be my age) Everything was put in to compartments with some very long words and complex explanations and that too was very hard to digest.
Luckily Kevin was an excellent tutor and on day two had turned some of my negative thoughts into positive ones. I would strongly recommend everyone should do a course in mental health but you might need someone like Kevin to guide you through this complex minefield.
The course is never boring, but be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions to be laid bare

Enjoyed it to the max.
Kevin you are a BOSS. Thank you for making a subject so impactful.
I was able to self reflect and see signs of easily from past events how easily it would been to fall from being in a long term bad mood to depression, if it wasn't for the support of Faith family and friends.
I am hopefully that I will be able to support , become more mindful, open to discuss and further educate myself.
I am proud to be a MHFA..... Big Dog Little Dog family .woof woof

Great training from a great trainer
I've just completed mental health first aid with big dog (Kev). It was a fantastic course, made all the better by a very good trainer. Kev is really good at communicating difficult information, making it accessible, easy to understand and applicable. He had a really good grip of the material and was able to answer all questions and facilitate conversations well. He made the course really enjoyable.
Mental Health First Aid
Kevin is a brilliant trainer, he is passionate about the subject and very has a great understanding of Mental Health issues. He is funny without being crass and belittling the subject. I enjoyed the course and feel I have learnt a lot and feel I can now help my colleagues if needed
Cannot recommend highly enough!
The course is incredibly informative and engaging. The ‘take away’ manual and workbook are remarkable and exceptional resources and will be hugely beneficial going forward. The presentation was engaging and professional and delivered in a manner that all could understand. The trainer had excellent knowledge about Mental Health and was inspiring throughout. The trainer (Kevin Moore) is very inspiring, personable, patient and eager to share his knowledge and skills with us. All those on the course agreed it was the best course we have attended.
