At a time when mental health trainers/ consultants seem to be everywhere, it can be difficult to find ones that truly stand out - and that's what makes BDLD different. We are a two-man social enterprise that brings not just the knowledge and skills, but also a dynamic, thought provoking and, dare we say it, fun atmosphere to our delivery. Whether it's accredited programmes such as Mental Health First Aid, Government courses such as Enhanced Mental Health training or our own, bespoke, workshops, Big Dog Little Dog ensures that all learners return to work with the skills/knowledge needed to do things differently. Otherwise, why bother?

A real eye opener to recognising potential signs in young people that will need support.

The training was serious but at the same time welcoming and the trainers made it fun so that the information was clear and fully understandable.

Excellent resources, and up to date sources used throughout made it relatable to the present day. Great Work guys really enjoyed the two days.

Very informative and excellent delivery…

Very informative and excellent delivery by Kevin and Andy, made easy for everyone to understand and use in their daily job roles with lots of referral organisations to sign post young people too, well organised. I would recommend this course because of the knowledge you take away, especially the signs of someone's mental wellbeing so useful in every day life.

The best training course I have been on :)

Thank you for a very knowledgeable two days Kevin and Andy. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and I can 100% say it was by far the best training course I have been on. Before the course my knowledge about Youth MHFA was 4/10 after the course my knowledge is now 10/10. Both days were very engaging and beneficial. The trainers were excellent. ☺️😊

Mental Awareness for First Aiders

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was run at an appropriate pace giving everyone the chance to participate as and when required. The tutor was caring ensuring that needs of students were met.

I have learnt quite a lot on mental health and the course has encouraged me to look further into the subject area. I only wish now that I had opted for the two-day course instead.

Everyone should have this training!

I would recommend this training to everyone! We had Kevin from Big Dog Little Dog, he was great, he kept the training interactive and fun, but also serious where it needed. He also shared a lot about his personal experiences which added another element for me. I learnt so much about how to provide support to people but also lots about stats in the UK. I really appreciated having this training opportunity with Big Dog Little Dog.

Best training duo ever!

Genuinely the best training I have ever received! Both the guys were incredibly informative, REAL and so knowledgable! The way the course was presented was so simple and so although the information at times was a lot to take in, I honestly understood it all. I left feeling really confident that this will help me make a real difference in my job, and like I had built a support that I could really rely on if needed in the future!

"How is your Bucket?"

Mental Health Awareness is something we should all be aware of, but it is a taboo subject for most people, due to lack of understanding and confidence, everyone should be aware of not only other people's mental health, but importantly THEIR own. The stresses and strains of life are great and for time to time everyone will need a little help even if it's a friend just taking the time to listen and not judge.
Big Dog, Little Dog offer courses in/for mental health and I was lucky to attend, the course was informative, confidence boosting and took away the stigma of mental health issues.
Do you know the signs of someone in mental distress?
Do you know how to get/where to get help? if the answer is NO then this course is a MUST for you!!! If you deal with people as an employer, or social group then this course will help you immensely.
The course was informative, got you to think and consider and partake.....it was not just "preached at you"
If you are looking to attend or to provide a course for your business, then please don't hesitate to contact Kevin or Bob, these guys are fabulous and I can't thank them enough. Hopefully one day every one will know how to deal with their "bucket"
