Ordered a 170-180cm kentia palm a few…
Ordered a 170-180cm kentia palm a few weeks ago. This was priced at £155 but I took advantage of £25 off for First time purchase. A week later the plant arrived. Packed well, however the 1 frond that measured the desired length had been bent over to fit in the 150cm box. After unpacking it was clear that the remaining fronds were all 130cm or less. Having ordered a 170-180cm plant I felt very disappointed. I emailed customer services with a photograph attached who replied very promptly, apologised and offered a £25 partial discount. I replied that this was not satisfactory as the plant was basically a 120-130cm plant and they were selling those fo £60 ! Another prompt reply and I was offered a £70 refund. I decided to accept this more due to not wanting the inconvenience of doing a return. Generally I feel very disappointed as I didn't get the plant that I ordered and initially paid for but did get prompt customer care after my complaint. Out of principal I will not be using Beards and Daisies again. I hope that my new plant thrives in my care, and may be reaches the height that I had asked for.

Bitterly disappointed......my poor…
Bitterly disappointed......my poor daughter brought me a year's subscription for a milestone birthday. She chose my birth date for each plant to be delivered, or as close to chosen date as possible. In 7 months I have only received the monthly plant twice without my daughter or myself having to email this company to remind them to do what they were paid for. Im acutely aware that this has cost my daughter alot of cash and it's disappointing that she is having the hassle to chase up the order. I have even emailed to remind them so my daughter's not aware of their incompetence as she was getting upset that her thoughtful gift was a pain in the rear.
Get your act together guys, I've emailed again for non delivery of June's plant and it would be great to receive the last four months plants without prompting you !

Beautiful plant, easy website to use
The only problem was the delivery. Unfortunately DPD do not make any contact ie. do not ring the door bell or attempt to deliver to the address, just leave it outside. Would recommend using another courier.

Very poor!
I gave a positive review after being reassured that my order would arrive on time for Father's day. The item did not arrive until a week later beyond Father's Day. I was promised a refund for the delivery, still no refund. The fronds of the plant were yellowing and the pot looked extremely cheap and ugly - overall extremely disappointed and I would not use again!!

Beautiful plants, have just purchased my second one which is a beautiful Olive Tree and previously an indoor Kentia Palm.
Both plants arrived in great condition, superbly packaged.
Customer support is fantastic, any queries or anything your worried about if your novice like me with live plants, the care team are great.
Would highly recommend!

I ordered and received my plants within 24 hours. Remarkable.
Beautifully packaged two arrived in excellent condition one a little damaged.
Email and photos elicited an almost immediate response with apology and offer of compensation together with ongoing care advice.
I have been very impressed by the service, I shall order again.

Plants look nothing like pictures
Plants look nothing like pictures, have broken branches and leaves, one of the boxes came with two slugs .. plants overall look extremely miserable.
I ordered from them once before a Benjamin tree that died soon after delivery the company did nothing but i thought well maybe I was just unlucky .. the company blamed it on too much/ not enough water, not enough sun etc etc (ie nonsense …).
Wont be buying from them again, I prefer to pay a little more but get good quality, pretty looking plants.
An update - customer service contacted me after this review and resolved the issue to my satisfaction so changed the rating to 4.

Ordered a large house plant
Ordered a large house plant, paid for the tracked named day delivery and it wasn't even dispatched and obviously didn't arrive. Order status stuck on "confirmed, preparing items for delivery", its past my delivery date and couldn't get in contact because it is a weekend. The item ordered was for a present for my mother and it hasn't arrived in time to give it to her, which is why I paid for tracked named day delivery. Can't blame the delivery company for this as Beards and Daisies have not even dispatched the item.
