My son Ordered topsoil for me came 10 days late when I wasn't in so my son wheel borrowed it around the house and filled up raised beds alot of work I got home and the topsoil was full of stones and lumps of clay I tried my best to clean it and then planted veg its taken 3 weeks for some seeds to show but also weeds I can only imagine that I got scrapping from the bottom of the stock pile a total waste of money and hard work. update 48 hours since last checked raised boxes and the weed that is growing in the soil from beatsons is clearly an infestation in that soil the weeds aren't anywhere else

The guys at the branches are always courteous and helpful in providing help and advice.
Likewise the delivery staff are also keen to assist and accommodate to the needs of the customer.
Overall I would highly recommend Beatsons for the professional service they provide.

Great service, product arrived promptly

I had a problem with the delivery as parcel force damaged the product in transit, I contacted Beatsons and a very helpfull employee had already dispatched a replacement! excellent friendly service and great prices too! highly recommended.

I ordered a bulk bag of screened top soil from beatsons to lay ontop of new grass seed during a lawn renovation.

The top soil came on time, however it was advertised as screen to 20mm (2cm). The soil was full of large rocks, pebbles, several large shards of glass and smash porcelain amongst other litter and debris.

Worst of all, since this was used, our garden is now crawling with leather jackets that we did not have prior. Since the soil was put down, the patio is covered with hundreds of them each night.

The soil was poor quality, not screened and clearly infested. ruining not only the renovation work, but the lawn itself with the infestation.

Do not use beatsons.

Update - the soil is now sprouting weeds, these weeds are only in the area the top soil was used so has come directly from the soil.

the soil was also clumpy, and not fine and good for water flowing as noted in the product description.

Bad experience. Ordered garden slabs and the delivery was a complete disaster. The driver dropped the slabs carelessly, resulting in one slab being damaged on the spot. To make things worse, they also damaged the pavement edging outside my property. When I raised the issue, the driver said someone from the office would call me to sort it out—but unsurprisingly, no one has contacted me since. No care, no accountability, and no follow-up.

Ive had the most pleasurable experience with Beatsons. I've had numerous deliveries and to add to the great delivery service the driver has been fantastic. The quality of products are the best I've had anywhere and the cost of delivery is very cheap too. Highly recommend Beatsons to anyone 11/10.

As an enthusiastic DIYer, I much prefer to use Beatsons to chain stores for wood, fence panels etc as the price and quality tends to be better!
