Beautiful.ai Reviews 

I had an issue with billing and I wrote in to their customer service and they were very helpful in getting it taken care of. I was worried because I read some of the reviews here from others that made me think it wouldn't get resolved but I was happy that wasn't the case.

I also think the product is really good, it has some way to go on their Ai but they have tons of templates and really great example decks to use.

I actually cancelled my subscription with Beautiful.ai, so why am I leaving a 5 star review? Customer service. I realised that for some reason I was charged for an annual subscription but I didn't recall purchasing it. I asked Beautiful.ai about this and started investigating how this could have happened. They responded with a refund, no questions asked (almost a year later).

In terms of the product, the AI slide generation is good in terms of content, but my feedback would be to also focus on more AI-generated design of the slide's visuals and design, a lot of potential.

Trial period ended. I didn't use it once (couldn't really figure out how to, to be honest - not a great user experience). I tried to cancel the trial account on my phone, but apparently you can only cancel on desktop. So the monthly charge - a whopping $45! - went through before I could cancel. I submit a request asking for a refund THE SAME DAY as the charge, but they refused to issue. That's a pretty bold move and not very user-centric, for a new company. I'd say avoid at all costs. (The templates looked pretty boilerplate and boring anyway - you can find better looking stuff for free online.)

Customer service was the worst part of my experience. After signing up for a trial, I was charged over $100 for an auto-renewed annual subscription. I sent multiple emails requesting a refund but received no response. Eventually, I had to dispute the charge through my bank. Only after my bank returned the funds did customer service respond, saying, "You've already canceled your subscription and disputed the charge, so you should be all set. Take care." This response felt dismissive, with no apology for the delayed response or for not addressing my issue initially. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Stupidly signed up for the free trial. Didn't receive a reminder or renewal advice which most reputable companies do automatically. I'm not entitled to a refund apparently because rather than look to see if you actually used the product (I did not past the first day I tried it), they will only refund within 24 hours. I've been personally billed $144 for a product I didn't use.

EDIT: In response to the message below, I have already been told by Support that I can't have a refund because it's against their policy. I have triple checked my inbox and junk mail and I did not receive a reminder email.

I subscribed to use a trial period some time ago and completely forgot to cancel it. They didn't send any warnings to my email whatsoever, just continued charging me.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE.
I just used this website once, and forget to cancel subscription as I've never got actually informed. Now they charged me $144 for a yearly plan. That's a real SCAM! In their website it's written that I can ask for a refund in 24 hours, which I did and I got a reply back that they're in Company Offsite. What the heck? I will share my mail and password with everyone so that all people can use this website for free if they don't refund that money.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE

Even though I have provided detailed reasons for a miss communication between me signing up for a month immediately, to what they are selling, and followed up multiple times via the so called support email, I have not heard a peep so far. Just an email reply with any content. I even told them immediately that there was no content and I am still waiting for support - NOTHING. Crickets!!!

I am changing my first 1-star review into a 3-star one as I was positively surprised by the responsiveness of BeautifulAI's customer service. In just a business day, Jojo replied to my email and issued a refund. I experienced the same problem other users had, namely the fact that I was unjustly charged despite having promptly cancelled my subscription during the trial period. That said, it seems this is now sorted in which case this will be my final review.

As per the service offered, I think it's really average. Yes, getting a presentation in no time may look impressive, but I honestly do not see how his can benefit a professional as graphics are mediocre and content is rather basic. I am pretty sure it will greatly improve as AI technologies will evolve.

I've been using Beautiful for allmost 2 years now and its been very helpful. also it's always getting better and improving.

The tool seems sensational to me, but, as I had mentioned before, it is a shame that it cannot make use of its full potential. Unfortunately I am unemployed and cannot pay a monthly payment, but overall, I think it is the best application of its kind.

Beuatiful.ai is an amazing platform that let's you quickly build out presentations that are professional and able to be shared easily. There is a slight learning curve but be patient! They do an amazing job adding the ability to make adjustements.

Signed up for the free trial, started making a presentation but found the lack of flexibility in slide design frustrating. The AI itself wasn’t good. Cancelled the plan prior to cancellation deadline. Charged an annual subscription anyway. I emailed the support team as soon as I was charged, and continued to send them 5 more emails over the next 4 weeks. It’s 2 months later, and I still have yet to receive a response. Shocking customer service - have to agree with the other reviews that this seems like a scam. I disputed the charge with my bank.

Same than other customer. I cancelled my subscription and they said I don't. They charged me 45 USD and it's insane, I do not ever use this app!

Love this software, and I got great support from the team at Beautiful AI.

I signed up for Beautiful.ai's trial service but promptly canceled it, thinking that was the end of it. Imagine my surprise when a month later, I see a charge from them on my credit card. There was zero notification that a subscription would automatically begin! To make matters worse, getting in touch with customer service to rectify the situation has been nothing short of a nightmare.

This is unacceptable, and I feel completely misled. I strongly discourage anyone from using Beautiful.ai. Their underhanded tactics and lack of support are a huge red flag.

Software doesn't work properly, wouldn't let me download presentation as PPT or PDF due to a bug. Which resulted in me having to re-do entire presentation to a daedline. When I flagged this, I got the worst customer service I've ever recieved. Very disappointing.

Companies that ask for a credit card and take benefits if you forget to cancel. Asking for a refund exact same day results in sending you to refund policy that they don't refund subscriptions.

Ridiculous. I don't like this method. All serious SaaS companies just refund you if you don't use a tool at all without taking the benefit that you were 4 hours late with cancel. Really bad customer support.
