This is the worst company that I’ve ever bought from in my online shopping history poor communication very rude delivery drivers. If you attempt to communicate with these people they will you completely Ignore you. Avoid buying from this Company, if you want to avoid stress and frustration. My order came with missing parts and slight damage. They won’t answer phone calls or reply emails. Very bad people.

Pls avoid this company, ordered a bed that was never delivered, you cannot contact them as they do not respond to either email or chat service. Difficult to locate a number for them and when you do they do not answer.

They word their terms and conditions very carefully and if you don’t pay by credit card you could lose out.

They are also potentially breaking the law in relation to legal obligations relating to distance selling, would totally avoid them as I would not wish for my experience to impact other customers. Took a while but finally got my credit card company to provide full refund

Please please don't purchase from bed…

Please please don't purchase from bed hut we got some bunkbeds from them and they were damaged and not right colour we tried to contact them but you could get a phone number we emailed them and took so long to answer then the offered us £50 when bunks cost over £500. We are still trying to get our money back from them and we purchased them back in February.they have had the bunks back but they were no good to resale as the men who came and collected them rip them apart so no good to use. So we have no beds and no money back

Rubbish company

BedHut based in Burnley is a rubbish company - avoid at all costs. Ordered a chest of drawers - not delivered, no contact from them, no response to emails from me, phone number does not connect. They would have just kept my £280 but I managed to get my money back from my credit card company.

Wrong colour, damaged and missing parts

Ordered a high rise bed in grey oak (which from the photos on their website is a light grey) my husband sends me a photo it’s half built only for me to tell him that it’s the wrong colour, despite what it states in the box. Then we discovered that the bed is most likely a return or a seconds, due to the damage to boards and frame. It’s now the 2nd day of building and we’ve discovered it’s missing some slats. Really poor company all round. Wouldn’t recommend.

It took over a year

It took over a year. Took this company through a small claims court and won. Keep all correspondence and take them to court.
They will have to pay costs and compensation.

Would give BedHut zero stars if I could. They do not answer emails. They do not answer Chat. They do not deliver according to their schedule in my experience.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE FROM THEM
I am still waiting for any form of contact from them; hoping for a bed actually to be delivered seems to be beyond unlikely.
So now it's on to Trading Standards...
Please, please, do not attempt to purchase from Bed Hut

I bought a coffee table mid April 2023 and was told it would be delivered asap (I live in London). After 1 month of waiting I followed up, to no response. Then followed up a few more times until finally getting a response from someone very unapologetically telling me to wait 6-8 weeks. After this time still no coffee table. I have followed up a number of times since but ultimately have written it off and they have essentially stolen my £250.

Different mattress arrived - poor after sales customer service

We ordered a super king bed and memory foam mattress from BedHut and a different mattress arrived. When I questioned this I was advised that it was a free ‘upgrade’. Less than a year later this ‘upgraded’ mattress has become really uncomfortable to sleep on, with springs digging in our sides. It has taken MONTHS for someone to get back to me about this issue, despite me calling, emailing and speaking via online chat multiple times. When calling I was always advised that someone would be in touch to resolve at the end of that day but didn’t ever hear back. Finally received an email months later and was told that it was outside their 1 year guarantee, so nothing they can do despite it not being the mattress I had originally ordered. Poor after sales customer service, and strange to have received a different mattress to what I’d ordered.. which had since become faulty. Will be taking this further if BedHut don’t reconsider.

Ordered the minsk bed and otterman. Arrived in time by a polite gentleman but was given less than 24 hours notice on delivery and advised if it wasn’t convenient would be charged £50.
The bed arrived in wrappers but when we opened it we were shocked! The bed frame has slats 8 inches apart!! Your standard slats are 7cm apart… we have had to reinforce the frame to withstand the mattress.
Secondly, ordered a 5ft otterman and was sent a 3ft. Only once I’ve threatened with a charge back from visa did Andrew Dante reply to say a replacement will be sent.

And here we are… £650 down on a bed that had another £100 spent on it to make good. And an otterman too small for the bed!!!!

Recently ordered a bed from Bedhut and had the same experiene as most of the reviews here....

Received the confirmation email and then nothing. I chased them by email and phone a week after ordering and no one responded to me.

Finally Andrew responded to the online chat and said my bed would be shipped the following day and I would get a tracking number.

The following day I wasn't surprised that I didnt' receive a tracking number. I went back on to the online chat and Andrew told me a whole different story.... They would deliver my bed 5 - 7 days later.

At this point I'd had enough so I told them I wanted to cancel my order. Andrew would not cancel my order until I told him I'd spoken to Trading Strandards. He then agreed to cancel my order and issue a refund - which took 5 days to reach my account.

AVOID this company at ALL costs.

Advertising stock they don't have...

Placed an order for a wardrobe via the Bedhut website on 18/2/23 (Ref. BH-12858). Delivery timeframe is stated as 10 working days and the courier firm would be in touch 24-48 hours prior to delivery to arrange a time. Apart from a standard confirmation email at the point of order (and one from Klarna who were handling the payments) no further communication was received despite my attempts to contact them via email and telephone.

After the 10th working day had passed (3/3) and with no sign of my wardrobe I raised a dispute with Klarna on 5/3. Suddenly, after Klarna had got involved, I was contacted by Andrew Dante of Bedhut on 8/3 (finally responding to my chaser email dated 2/3) advising me that the despatch date would now be 26/5!! Unhappy with this I requested that he cancel the order which he did without delay.

Thanks to Klarna's intervention this matter was resolved satisfactorily and my initial payment was refunded in a timely manner by Klarna the day after order cancellation (9/3).

Overall, a disappointing online shopping experience and I would advise people to steer well clear of these cowboys.

I placed my order in November 2022 and i am still waiting for my product . i spent £200 on my table and when i called Andrew advised that it will take a month as they are out ot stock - this was not on thir website suggesting it - clearly misleading. i am very upset and will not recommend anyone to buy. i wished i had read reviews as this is the first time i had used the website.

Charged me and dropped off the face of the earth

I ordered a coffee table from bedhut after reading on their website that small items such as coffee tables are shipped on the same day and should be delivered within 3-4 days. I chose this website because they are supposedly an independent family business, so I would rather support them than a big company. However, my experience with them has been quite poor so far.

I was charged for the product over a week ago, but I haven’t received ANY emails, texts, or phone calls with order updates. I’ve tried to get in touch by Chatbot or email, but I’ve not heard from a soul. I just want someone to acknowledge that I will soon be receiving the product that I paid £200 for!

Happy to update my review and score if I hear back from the company soon. My order number is BH-12751 by the way.

Do not buy from this awful company

UPDATE - After a month of unanswered phone calls, and emails I contacted my bank, Trading Standards and Citizens Advice and eventually received a full refund from Bedhut, however, this does not alter my opinion of them and their disgusting customer service.
Do not buy from this awful company.
Placed order and no communication since to say when our bed would be delivered.
Terrible rude guy called Frank who eventually answered the phone after umpteen calls, he shouted at me down the phone and then hung up!!
Save your money and buy elsewhere.
Amazed they are still trading.

Unreliable don't bother with them (BedHut)

I placed an order based on the delivery estimate they gave of 3-10 working days after the 10th working day had passed I emailed to ask when I would receive my order, a week later there is still no reply, or any communication saying there has been a delay. The chat on the website goes unanswered total jokers they're either totally incompetent or fraudsters

This is a review for bedhut.com trading from Burnley, despite tp saying bed city reg London. (That needs amending) Ordered small set of drawers 26/11 and paid £200. First I heard was 9/12 off Andrew Dante saying out of stock, would I like ex display, vgc. I agreed same day and asked for a discount when he said I could have bedhut25 disc.
I emailled 30/12 saying need refund if no reply continues, nothing. Tried to ring no answer tried AD’s mobile left a message, tried to online chat, no reply when mentioned order no. Emailled 8/1 saying Ive had enough I want a refund immediately. 9/1 I received a shipment email, I received the item 11/1 and an email notifying £25 refund, which hasnt come through as yet.
