This has been by far the worst furniture purchasing experience I’ve ever had. Emma Mason and this website one and the same company.
I ordered a bedroom set that was supposed to be delivered in September, but the order arrived partially and with missing items. The pieces that did arrive had scratches and dents, and during delivery the delivery crew scratched my floors. Unfortunately, I noticed the damage only after they left (and after I had tipped them).
What followed was months of frustration. After waiting over a month for replacements, the next shipment arrived damaged again and with the wrong item. Another long wait followed, and the order was still incomplete — the nightstand was missing.
Eventually the nightstand arrived completely damaged, so we sent it back. The company assured us a replacement would arrive within a couple of weeks, but after waiting another month nothing happened.
At that point I opened a credit card dispute, and only then did the company reach out saying they couldn’t send the replacement unless I closed the dispute — which suggests they hadn’t even reordered the item yet after all that time.
The worst part is the countless hours of emails and back-and-forth I had to spend dealing with this mess. It has been an incredible waste of time and energy.
I closed the dispute three weeks ago, but the company still has not issued a refund and the order remains unresolved after many months.
This is my first escalation, and if the issue is not resolved soon I will pursue legal action.
I strongly recommend avoiding this company unless you want to wait months, receive damaged furniture, and spend endless time chasing customer service.
Horrible Experience and poor customer service
The bedroom set I got was nothing like the description online. Mis-colored pieces, unstable connections, inoperable drawers, overall very poor quality. And their easy returns...not so much. They want 30% of the payment plus 300% of the freight cost to take it back even though it doesn't match the description and all the other issues. Go anywhere besides here!
MOLDY FURNITURE
This has been, without question, the worst purchasing experience of my life.
I ordered a $3,338 bedroom set from Bedroom Furniture Discounts (fulfilled by Emma Mason). When the furniture was delivered, black mold was discovered inside the wood, exposed when a bed slat broke during assembly. The delivery crew immediately advised me to refuse the delivery, which I did. The furniture never entered my home. I documented everything with photos.
Since then, I’ve made 10 phone calls trying to get a full refund for a hazardous, contaminated product that I never accepted. Instead of taking responsibility, this company has:
Refused to refund me
Offered no explanation for how mold ended up inside the wood
Refused to disclose how materials are stored or inspected
Tried to force me to accept a replacement without any assurance it would be mold-free
When I demanded a full refund, they told me they would deduct a 30% fee plus shipping and handling per their "policy." Apparently, there’s a policy for penalizing customers—but no policy against sending mold-infested furniture into people’s homes.
Let that sink in.
They are selling defective, possibly dangerous products, and then punishing the customer for their own failure.
Do not trust this company with your home, your health, or your money.
If you value basic safety, clean air, or ethical business practices, go anywhere else.
Beware—this company is a scam
Beware—this company is a scam. They will send you broken furniture and then hit you with over $700 in shipping fees if you refuse delivery of their damaged goods. When you show them clear photos of cracks, they’ll dismiss it, claiming the furniture isn’t broken. Even if the cracks are sharp enough to cut, they’ll insist it’s “normal for stone,” waving around a laughable brochure (which looks like it was made by a 5th grader) as “proof.” This is all part of their con. Don’t waste your money on this dishonest business. Avoid at all costs!
