Moving across borders means making hundreds of decisions at once, usually while you are exhausted and stretched thin. I help clients build a realistic timeline for their move, sort through visa steps and document requirements, and work through the emotional weight of downsizing a home. We use a framework I call SAFE to figure out what is actually worth keeping, rather than defaulting to what feels safest to hold onto out of habit or fear. Sessions are flexible and paced around each client's energy and circumstances. Some people need help with the practical logistics of banking, shipping, and first week checklists. Others need someone to help them think through what will make a new place feel like home from the first night. Most clients need both. I moved my own family from the United States to the Netherlands and packed down a three-bedroom house into 16 suitcases and a few mailed boxes.
