🙌🏼 EXCELLENT 👏

🙌🏼 EXCELLENT 👏

If I could give more stars I would... was totally blown away by the whole Bella Sposa experience from Cass & her girls!!
Booked an appointment in May this year for my niece to view wedding dresses & wow what a choice for a small local shop!!
Cass is super friendly, super passionate about her profession & she certainly knows her stuff. 👏👏👏
The whole experience was amazing, we was all made to feel special & not one bit rushed when my niece tried nearly EVERY dress on in the shop 😂...
3 cheers to Cass & Bella Sposa, we came away with not only a dress of dreams (Justin Alexander) but I for one wanted to get married again just for the whole experience!! 🥂
Thankyou a million times 💋💋

Beware

When my daughter said yes to the dress the experience in the shop was very special. It was a Justin Alexander dress beautiful. I put a deposit down and paid the balance when due. I then had a written reminder to pay balance which I was not to happy about. Picked up headdress for hair trial and I thought at the time it was just picked from the shelf not a new one. My daughter then went for fitting, the hem at the front was pinned, a minor adjustment on the shoulder and a pin for bustle for the evening. Was then given an invoice for £260 to be paid in cash.
We decided to pick the dress up and get the minor alterations done elsewhere, which was half the price. A week before the wedding stones had fallen out of the headdress, it was tarnished and falling apart, so had to buy a new one. Basically it started as a lovely experience but ended on a very sour note.

Wedding dress

I bought an end of season dress in the sale last year. When I bought the dress, I was told there would be no issues with fittings etc-the dress was a size 14 + I am a size 8. I was told the dress would ‘fit like a glove’. I asked how much this would cost but I was given no indication. I asked several times if I could be given an estimation of how much it would cost but each time the owner said she couldn’t tell me. To be honest, I should have left then, but I liked the dress. When I went back for the final fitting, the owner of the shop was extremely rude and was really rushing us to get out. She kept complaining that she’d had to keep the shop open for us, even though they had given us the appointment time. The dress needed a final adjustment-the owner was extremely unhappy about having to keep the dress for longer + made that clear!
When I returned to pick up the dress, it was hanging in a bag on a high shelf. I was told to inspect the dress. It wasn’t taken down or unzipped + I was expected to do this on the shop floor. I found blue threads hanging from the dress + it seemed like an inconvenience for the owner to have to cut them off.
When I tried the dress on at home, my mum realised the back had not been fitted properly. It was too big + gaping-this was days before the wedding so I had to try + make the best of it. On the day of the wedding I found a needle in the dress as I was putting it on. By the start of the wedding breakfast the dress had started to fall apart-the boning started to come out! To be honest, the whole thing ruined my wedding experience + my biggest regret is going to that shop!

BE AWARE!!! EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE.......

If i could give a 0 review I would...
We bought a Justin Alexander Wedding dress for my daughter in the end of season sale last year for £1000.

My Daughter collected the dress at the end of May 2018 as her Wedding was abroad in July 2018 and A family friend (who is a seamstress) was going to do the alterations as a wedding present. When collecting the dress my daughter was told that it had been dry cleaned & paid extra for the dry cleaning.

When the Seamstress came to do a fitting before taking the dress to do the alterations we noticed a burn mark at the bottom of the dress and and lots of holes in the mesh at the top of the dress at the back we initially thought this must have happened at the dry cleaners & they had not looked the dress over after it was cleaned.

However when my daughter called to complain & ask where it had been dry cleaned she was asked to send pictures over. We sent the pictures & when she finally received a call back the lady she spoke to stated that the holes were not because of the dry cleaners but they were there due to being pinned when people try it on & would have been there when we bought it. My daughter told her we was not informed of this and it was not bought to our attention that the dress was faulty, before, during our after purchase to which she responded it's our responsibility to look the dress over. She also told us that some of the holes had been repaired prior to us collecting the dress but there were too many for them to do.
.
Bella Sposa clearly have no duty of care in respect to the quality of garments sold to their customers. Taking advantage of the euphoria experienced by all customers who come to purchase a wedding dress & do not think they would be sold a defective item with out the defects first being pointed out. (No person in their right mind would purchase a wedding dress or suit with holes in for their wedding day)

They knowingly sold a dress which was not fit for purpose and had not been forthright, honest and open adhering to their duty of care by telling us about the defects in the dress. Had we have known this my daughter would have chosen a different dress.

We asked for a partial refund due to the repairs that had to be made as seamstress that was expecting to spend a few hours on alterations but ended up spending 30+ hours redesigning the top of the dress to cover the holes which we paid for as she had only offered to do the fitting alterations as the wedding present.

While they said they would resolve this they have done nothing to sort it out despite us providing all the information they have asked for.

Citizens Advise have reported it to Trading Standards informing us that it is a criminal offence to sell a faulty item to us without informing customers of the faults. However to get the partial refund we have no option to take it through the Court ourselves as they are not doing anything to resolve this.

Thankfully I have phone/video recording of my conversations with the shop owners/managers and after speaking to the information Commissioner's office I have been informed that as I am an individual and not a business and it is in my interest I do not need approval from Bella Sposa to provide it to a Judge or Journalist or post it on my own social media page once anyone shares it it is no longer my responsibility. I am very disappointed that they have done nothing to resolve this and it has come to the stage that I have to do this so that no-one else has to experience this. As the stress it causes a few weeks before your wedding is unimaginable.
