I help my clients understand their finances and think through significant strategic issues like succession, funding, investments, tax efficiency, and profit improvement. I understand that being an owner-manager can be isolating. That’s why I provide a sounding board to my clients when they have questions, hopes, or worries they don’t want to discuss with anyone else. My clients value my insider/outsider perspective on their business. I know their business intimately – but I’m not immersed in it. I am on their team but have experience in many other organisations. This means I can ask the right questions and guide them through their thinking process. I understand that the boundaries between business and personal finances are blurred for entrepreneurs. I often advise clients when they are making a significant personal financial commitment (e.g., buying a second home) or going through a significant change in their circumstances (e.g., marriage or divorce). I also advise high-net-worth individuals with complex investments and business portfolios. Being a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners [STEP], I have expertise in Wills, Inheritance Tax Planning, probate, and creation of Trusts.See more
