My experience with Bellum K9 has been very disappointing. I paid approximately $1,500 and $1200 remained unused and requested a refund.
As seen in their attached contract: Option A is specifically labeled as nonrefundable, while Option B does not contain the same nonrefundable language. Despite this, Bellum K9 has informed me that Option B is also nonrefundable and has refused to return my unused funds.
I encourage anyone considering doing business with this company to carefully review the contract terms and obtain written clarification regarding refund policies before making payment. In my experience, the company has not honored the contract terms as written by themselves.
I was also advised to file a theft report, because I can show intent of refusal to refund for services not provided
Update: Bellum K9 (bellumk9dogtraining.com) has threatened to file a counterclaim against me for the alleged harm to his business. I find that position difficult to understand, as this dispute could have been resolved by simply refunding the money I paid. I was never told my payment was nonrefundable when payments were made. He also stated he would not refund me, because he was in a $186K lawsuit.
Bellum K9 was aware that those funds were needed for health testing, yet the refund was refused. In my view, this matter could have been resolved long ago if Bellum K9 acted in good faith.
