Over the past few months, I’ve spent nearly £2,000 on Benchdogs tools, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best investments I’ve made for my workshop. These tools have completely changed the way I work, bringing new levels of precision, efficiency, and—perhaps most importantly—enjoyment to my woodworking.

The superb finish and outstanding accuracy of their tools are second to none. Everything is engineered with care and purpose, and it shows. From the moment you use them, you can feel the quality—solid, reliable, and incredibly precise. It’s made a genuine difference to how clean, tight, and consistent my projects now turn out.

Their innovative designs, especially the hinge system and fence setup, have been game-changers. The hinge system has taken the guesswork and hassle out of cabinetry work, and the fence system is brilliantly stable and easy to use—ideal for quick, repeatable setups that save time and improve results.

I’ve just ordered a set of their setup blocks, and I’m really looking forward to putting them to use. If they’re anything like the rest of the Benchdogs lineup, I know they’ll be another smart addition that makes working at the bench even smoother.

It's worth mentioning that delivery times can be a bit longer than we’ve come to expect these days, but honestly, I think that’s more a reflection of just how popular and in-demand these products have become. The wait is a minor trade-off for tools that deliver such excellent performance and reliability.

In short, Benchdogs tools have elevated my woodworking across the board—more precision, less hassle, and even more enjoyment. If you care about accuracy, smart design, and tools that truly enhance your work, they’re absolutely worth the investment.

Delivery was a little slow but this was documented on the Benchdogs co uk site due to having an influx of orders.

I have the carpenters square, T-square 600mm, SS Bevel square, Precision triangle and a number of dogs, the past purchase that prompted this review was the MK2 Parallel guide in a systainer. The reason I keep coming back is the quality of the tools, and the latest purchase is no different. I have the Festool parallel fense and guide but it's quite bulky and found doing thin cuts hard work. So far after a couple of days use the Benchdogs I am more than happy in use and again the quality of the components is great. Will be back for more.

I've made a couple of purchases from Benchdog Tools recently: a MFT top to fit onto a new workbench and then a Fence system with the quad dogs and some bench & rail dogs.
Changed my mind on the size of the MFT top a few days before I was due to collect - dealt with swiftly by Daisy, including managing a refund.
Managed to order the new quad bench dogs without the bases and only realised my mistake when I received delivery. Called through the next morning and spoke with Daisy and Olga, again the team dealt with my mistake swiftly and very fairly.
All the products are top quality, packaged well and dispatched quickly.
I will definitely be ordering more in the very near future!

Purchased a Mark 2 rail square clasp conversion kit. It’s a lousy bit of kit with misleading instruction. The kit they used to demonstrate in their video is not the kit you get. It’s an “upgraded kit” it’s drill & tapping bit. The drilling portion is short and therefore as you keep drilling through the plate the tapping part engages but keeps spinning in the same place and ruins the thread . Thankfully as a diy metal worker I had the tools to solve the problem and fit the clasp. The clasp definitely is a good upgrade. It’s an overpriced item , poor instruction and overall a bad experience.

I have three tools from Benchdogs, ordered separately over the last 3 months. Dispatch speed has been a bit variable but the quality of the tools is not - they all arrived in pristine condition (more than I can say for the last Woodpeckers item that I bought) and are a pleasure to use. Quality is on a par with other premium tool brands in my opinion. I have had occasion to contact customer services and found them friendly and helpful.
Hopefully I will find an excuse to buy something else soon!

Ordered a big base, plate and rail guides. All came before delivery date, which was really helpful to get the job done. The quality is fantastic, easy to set up and I’m sure it will last me for years to come. Highly recommend thank you.

Fantastic tools. Beautifully designed and made. A pleasure to use. Their calibration for checking things are square is outstanding and if anything else is an issue they will move incredibly quickly to resolve. A pleasure to deal with and an amazing example of Uk innovation and manufacturing.

Well engineered 5* product. Only slight negative is the slow despatch tine although this was notified on website.

I’ve ordered a few things from Benchdog tools in the last few weeks or so. I found the delivery of them a little on the slow side(from order to dispatch). That’s the ONLY negative I can find. The products are absolutely first class,precision made. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into research and development- and it shows. It’s British engineering at its best in my opinion.Cost is relative-if you want cheaper then shop elsewhere, but the quality won’t be anywhere close to Benchdog tools.

One of the best companies I have dealt with. Brilliant products and well made with care and - love for their (and mine) attention to detail. Also made in the UK (bonus!) and shipped in good packaging. When ordering during sales delivery times are slower. But Benchdog tools are worth waiting for.

I received a notched guide rail. It was perfectly packaged and there is no sign of damage in the package or the wrapping foam. Their customer service arranged sending a replacement part which i just received in perfect condition. Good service.

I have just got into the world of bench dogs to use in my new MFT workbench. Of the sellers I have looked at and have bought from I have found that Benchdog Tools offer excellent quality products at very competitive prices. The bench dogs I have bought from them have been very well made and finished, and they are an exact fit in the holes in my workbench, with no play at all. I have bought one set of 8 bench dogs from them so far, but because of the quality and value for money of the products I shall be buying from this company again. Delivery was great; my order arrived in a couple of days.

Recently brought the ultra mk3 square rail and repeat stop in a nice box.
What a brilliant addition to my mafell slide saw. I should have brought one sooners the square makes it very simple to make accurate and repeatable cuts very quickly
