Great product, poor packaging

Great product, it is very much appreciated on the design and materials.
However, packaging is a bit under the standards. Specially nowadays when couriers don’t have any care of the boxes they’re carrying.

still no delivery or any more information from delivery
company from 18th dec when it will finally be delivered, having checked on track n trace still no movement of bike and no reply from Berg after sending more e-mails after xmas. feel totally let down. had to purchase from other outlets for grandchilds present

Avoid - teeny!

We bought two for our 4ur old granddaughters - The advertised size age-range is way out. The go-karts would not come close to fitting an average 4 year old girl, let alone a 5 year old - much too small. Avoid.

Our pedal go karts are designed for specific age group. We use a global standard for body lengths and ages. As a result, the age indication may indeed differ from the body length of a specific child. We therefore recommend that when purchasing a go-kart, you primarily consider the specified body length for that go-kart. If a child is within that range, the go-kart should be suitable. If they are already at the upper end of the length range but still within the correct age indication, a larger go-kart is recommended.

Revised review.

Very disappointed by our recent experience with Berg.

4 years ago we bought a kart via Wicken Toys (UK distributor for Berg) for our eldest child and the product was and has been flawless. So we decided to buy a John Deere Buzzy direct from Berg for our tractor obsessed 2yr old for Christmas.

The tractor arrived with damage to the main chassis, the decal was badly punctured in numerous places and there were chips down to the bare metal. We phoned Berg customer services on Tuesday 16th shortly after the product was delivered to alert them to the damage and to request a replacement. The customer service advisor was very polite and understanding but suggested given how close it is getting to Christmas the best course of action would be for us to buy another tractor from WIcken Toys in the UK and to return the damaged one to Berg for a refund. He also requested we email photos of the damage, they would then arrange a collection for us. We sent an email straight after the phone call ended at 3.25pm.

We have not received a reply to this email yet and when the new tractor from Wicken Toys arrived today this also had some cosmetic damage in the same area as the first one along with a dent/chip to the black metal axel point on the chassis. Overall the marks are less visible on this tractor so I decided to build this one as we need to have something to give our daughter next week. However during the build there was an issue with the steering shaft nut and bolt. The nut sits in a plastic recess which is meant to retain the nut while you tighten the bolt however the nut turns within the recess when you try to tighten the bolt.

I have had to take the steering shaft from the first tractor delivered, the nut tightened properly on this one thank god.

So we have a slightly damaged but fully built tractor to give to our daughter this Christmas but we are out of pocket for two tractors and despite a phone call to customer services this morning (December 18th) we are still yet to have a reply arranging collection of the damaged tractor.

*Edit* I have changed the score from 1 star to 4 stars. Berg customer service reached out after my review to offer an immediate refund for the first tractor which is very much appreciated. I would rate the customer service received as 5/5 however it is a shame that both tractors had issues.

I ordered 2 items

I ordered 2 items, first a go cart for my daughter (over €200) I paid, then I ordered a small bike for my youngest. I have received order confirmation, invoice for the bike but not for the go cart. I contacted their customer service team where Neil reassured me that he will be able send a copy. While both item arrived, we decided to return the go cart and order a one size bigger. Now problem is I don’t have anything to be able to return it, no order confirmation, no invoice, nothing other a screenshot that my card was charged. While we would still have time to return the item and order another I’m unable to do anything, Neil had disappeared even though I emailed again, requesting a copy of order confirmation, invoice and how to go about returning the item. I would not recommend their items or services, I wish I read more of their reviews sooner! While their items might be good their service is terrible!!!! How hard can it be to resend an invoice???!! Now we are one week away from Christmas and not able to sort this out. Very disappointed, I hope more people read these reviews. Once you ordered you are in your own! Not worth the headache to be honest!!!!

We checked your order and found out you didn't receive any information due to an in correct e-mail address on your order for the gokart.

Based on the communication with Neil you did receive the invoice for your gokart as PDF, attached to the e-mail of 11 December. 10:21 am. Since you replied to that e-mail you must have received the e-mail.

As a reaction to your e-mail telling you might need to return the gokart Neil asked you in the e-mail from 15 December, 11:01 am whether or not a return was needed.

If a return is needed, please simply reply to his e-mail that it is needed indeed and he will follow-up with you.

What a super little tractor!

What a super little tractor!
I would have given it 5 stars, but there were a few scuff marks on the paintwork and I can't find any way of contacting the company for advice.
That being said, my grandson won't care. He will have many happy hours on this.

Bought 2 buzzy carts for the st Nicolas…

Bought 2 buzzy carts for the st Nicolas of my grand children. They both loved them. They seem to be of very good quality. And they quickly understood how to maneuver the carts. The delivery was timely and easy to put together.
