Sadly not a good review

Considering I paid top money for the microwave/oven and the main oven I am not happy at all. The microwave oven has a glass tray in it for the oven shelf which is annoying.(as gets dirty really quickly so forever cleaning it) You have to take any metal out if your using the microwave / oven function at the same time ... (unlike modern appliances you can keep the metal in the microwave!! ) I did not realise this before I purchased it. It clunks everytime you put it on. The technology seems very basic and dated. The clock / screen has a malfunction and keeps pinging/does odd things fortunately it has not turned itself on as yet! .... and as for the main oven very disappointing.... I paid top money to have self clean option... 1st time I used this function it splattered all the grease onto the glass door. They said it was an error in the programme and would be cheaper to send a replacement than renew it and fair play to them they did. The main oven does not always seem to heat up properly. I have to turn it off and them turn it on again to kind of reset it ... very odd. Sadly I do not think these appliances will last the test of time ?? Would not buy another one. Not worth the premium purchase price.... I mainly purchased the 2 items for the aesthetics in my kitchen which looks fab but not the professional workhorse it was advertised to be . Obviously this is only my view.

Some functions on the dial are inactive, Two calls to customer service, no one to speak to with any knowledge of the product.

Worth it!

It wasn’t cheap but I wanted something special after my last one was totally inadequate.
My gas hob is my dream cooking device. It’s beautiful to look at but it’s solid, got power, space for big pans and cleans very easily.
Worth every penny spent. Bought back a desire to cook again!

Very good customer service…

We had plenty of information regarding installation dates and processes. The initial installation team and company failed to provide an LPG fitter leading to delays. When we spoke directly to bertazzoni UK they provided an excellent service finding installation team who could provide what we needed at very short notice and we were kept informed throughout. The range cooker is brilliant

Outstanding purchase

Outstanding purchase. Only used a few times so far but it’s brilliant. Even wife says she might turn it on. Will be testing it with a Victoria sponge asap.

We purchased a Bertazzoni bottom…

We purchased a Bertazzoni bottom freezer refrigerator last summer. It is by far the best appliance in our house. We love the amount of space the interior has and the shelving on the door is plentiful. We’ve had many compliments from visitors to our home about the style of this refrigerator. We highly recommend this appliance.

horrible customer service and overrated quality

there was no 0 stars so had to give one star...overrated brand with non-existent customer service. After spending a couple of thousand pounds on the range cooker and the hood i also had added extra warranty from their website and i found out after 3 years when i first had to use it that the warranty is provided by a third party company who :

1- has a horrible reservation system for engineer - it's random and can't be booked over the phone, you need to wait until the engineer is available as only engineers have access to calendars
2- has inconsistent notifications - you don't know when they will arrive as they informed me 24 minutes before their arrival and i was not at home
3- worst quality of service engineers - they don't want to help you but simply get your signature and leave

i had sent several complaint emails to bertazzoni and a gentleman who claims to be their UK General Manager responded and also called me but all he can say is he is sorry and their own engineers are far better but they are not allowed to use it for the warranty claims

avoid and don't buy unless you want to go crazy with the horrible customer service

Bought the 100cm induction Professional…

Bought the 100cm induction Professional range cooker and I could not be happier. My experience with the Bertazzoni team was exceptional and would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

DANGEROUS!

My $14,000,48 inch duel fuel range’s glass oven door explodes (yes, that is the correct word), shattering superheated glass shards onto my wooden floor, every time I use the self-cleaning oven feature. The first time it happened, I was told that there was a defect in the glass, and my appliance store replaced the glass. But recently I tried using the feature again, and AGAIN the glass door exploded. I’m now 2 for 2 on the self-cleaning oven exploding its own door…. Unbelievable. I’m furious.

This oven is DANGEROUS! …and on top of that it cost $14,000!!! Do not EVER give any money to such a shameful, fraudulent company like Bertazzoni. Avoid at ALL costs.

DO NOT PURCHASE BERTAZZONI APPLIANCES!!

I am a general contractor and we purchased a Bertazzoni kitchen package for a client about a year ago. Appliances overall are a cheap build, but adequate so far. The hood we purchased with the package has been the biggest issue - the removable metal cold filters across the bottom of the hood never fit properly. The spring-loaded tabs that hold the filters in place do not line up with their slots, the filters are too tight and do not fit in properly, and the quality of the cold filters is extremely poor - they bend when you DO try to get them to fit. Bertazzoni's customer service has been non-existent. We requested that a local Bertazonni rep come out and inspect their product, but no response. We bought the appliances through local appliance supplier, and Bertazzoni would not even respond to them. Now it's in our own hands and STILL nothing has been done. Awful product and zero customer service, DO NOT PURCHASE BERTAZZONI APPLIANCES!!

Wasted money on Bertazzoni appliance package

I bought an entire Bertazoni appliance package , gas oven range , refrigerator, dishwasher and additional oven and microwave for my big kitchen remodel in 2021 - so far I am finding so many issues- cheaply made- I have gone through 3 icemakers, gas cooktop issues, uneven heating and poor temp control in both ovens- had to buy external thermostat to know exact temp, dishwasher is loud and cleans poorly. A huge expense and lots of regret we are out of warranty so we had to pay for all repairs.

New Range for Old

Bought a replacement for a (still working, but 25 year old) 90cm Britannia dual fuel double oven range cooker. Researched possibilities and Bertazzoni seemed to be the closest match.
Hesitant; but on receiving the new cooker and having used it a few times. I am very pleased with it and it being quite an upgrade to the Britannia.
The heat in the oven seems good and fierce when I open it, so no heat loss.
It is so very much quieter than the old Brit. Burners are good…the wok burner takes some getting used to, but this (on the single flame) together with the small burner and one of the medium burners are all I will really be using routinely.
The clock timer and main oven controls are great (again to get accustomed to).
Only gripe is; the second oven controls not being situated to the right hand side, above the second oven position.
Again; it takes a while to adjust to the fact that all of the hob controls, are ‘off centre’ and towards the right hand side of the main control panel and not aligned as such, with the hob positions I.e. the 5th and central control knob operates the left wok burner. Something the old Brit had perfected, where the same control operated the middle burner directly above it.
But overall very pleased and it is a quality upgrade.
