Avoid this parking facility at all costs

We booked airport parking with this company as they were considerably cheaper. However the experience was not worth the savings. Took us ages to find the location which was a patch of scrubland with caravans on. Thank goodness we arrived early as we waited ages for transfer and got to Gatwick 1 hour after arriving at the car park. Return was just as bad and we waited an hour to be collected from the airport. The facility absolutely stank of cannabis - and these people are driving your cars. Never again!

bestparkingdeals.co.uk is a SCAM

I am new to wanting to park my car near an airport, so did a search and bestparkingdals came up. It models itself as a much smaller 'skyscanner' website that does a 'search' for local parking areas where you can leave your car when flying from Gatwick. This is not the case. This is a website created BY the 3 'searches' that come up, and they are a SCAM at best, and criminal at worst. Looking at their google review, which was a tricky to find as they have changed their PO address, you'll quickly see that the police have raided the parking lot on numerous occasions.

Service users have also mentioned that while they have been on holiday their cars have been driven by those who claim to look after them, in some cases almost 100miles. This with photographic evidence.

In some cases, users have arrived to find police at the parking area as cars have been stolen. So DON'T use them.

The website also threatens people with legal action if reviews are posted on Trustpilot. Please note:

12.2 No reviews about the service can be left on any of our reviews platform e.g Trust-pilot, Google etc. as we are not the service providers and only offer price comparison for the car parks.

12.3 Any service reviews left on our reviews platform will be challenged and if not removed immediately upon request we reserve the right to take legal action and further administration / legal costs will be added to the claim.

Good luck with that, I know my rights as a consumer and threatening someone with legal action for freedom of speech is utterly pathetic. Any website that has to do this, is a SCAM. Stay away.
