Was at the Winsor party and l was very disappointed. It wasn't decent party music, the entertainment was very poor in comparison to prior years, not enough staff manning the bars - I gave up waiting! NO red wine on the table, we had to buy it at the bar! just lacked a proper party vibe . . . . oh, and they opened the doors late leaving guests outside in the howling wind and rain. Just RUBBISH and we will not be booking our Christmas party with these penny pinchers again.

Would give 0 if this was an option. I went there for my work event and I regret every moment of it. We have paid for starter, main and dessert... well non of our 12 guest got the dessert and we were not the only table. When we went to ask they told us ' we have run out' and there is a dessert corner but this was also empty not mentioning that 2 people from our booking did not get a starter. Not a great start.

We have had our drinks pre paid , we went for the package with cocktails and spirits. Well out of all the other guests which there was about 500/700 ; ONE person had too many drinks ( not our guest , some random person ) and they have closed the bar over an hour earlier for ALL the 500/700 guests, not even a bottle of water was given out and this was also pre paid.

Their staff are very rude and disrespectful. One male behind the bar ( young male manager ) was always on his phone and when we asked him for a drink he was walking away each time, and when he decided to close ALL their bars he just removed all the staff from the bar counter and when we went over to ask for a drink he responded ' bar is closed ' well we said there is still over an hour before when the bar should be closed and he then responded ' what don't you understand the BAR IS CLOSED ! ' so we wanted to know why and he just walked off - very rude male... another male who was working there decided to tell us the reason and when we have asked for a water we were simply refused ..

Contacted the venue via email as we just hated the whole experience and they said they will respond within 2 months .. well we didn't hear back from them until now MARCH ; 3 months later and they just apologised , no money were refunded back to us. They try to offer us some discount however no one wants to return there next year and i do not blame them this was their Ascot venue. My friend also attended the venue in Reading and she experienced the same thing. So they probably were just short on food and drinks.

So if you would like to enjoy your Christmas meal AVOID this place at all of their locations !!! Your will leave hungry , and with very high blood pressure.

Don't promise to respond to complaints if your not gonna do it.
Noone responding to calls or emails.

Had an amazing night on the 16th December with the Specsavers St Albans group. The food was well impeccable, show was fabulous and music was very entertaining. The bumper cars was the icing on the cake! Fun for all members of our team.
A colleague had lost a phone that night and the Security guard was very helpful hats off to him too, I believe his name was Sully.

What a brilliant night! The atmosphere created was spot-on and the entertainment enjoyed. The food was tasty, served hot and the floor staff were very friendly and attentive. 2 bars and no queues to get drinks, which was fantastic. My first time having a go at the silent disco area, and it was great fun, laughed a lot! Bit of a queue for the dodgems but that was expected, and they were great fun. Fantastic event, with amazing entertainment. The theme was excellent, and a nice change from standard Christmas events. The food and drinks service was efficient; food specifically was very nice, and hot, which is challenging for such a large event. The only negative was the online booking system, I regularly struggled with the functionality of the system and had to make several calls to add guest etc, that being said all of the staff were excellent solving issues.

From the minute I starting arranging the party I knew I was in safe hands. Beth was faultless and made it a pleasure to deal with her. Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing venue amazing entertainment. This company always delivers its very best. This year I attended 2 of their parties at St Albans and both were brilliant. Food was hot and tasty and for an event of that size to get it right is a huge plus for me. The entertainment was nothing less as what you would have expected to see at a London show! Brilliant a job well done.

My colleagues and I attended the party in Newcastle on 15th Dec. We were all extremely disappointed. The amount of money we paid just wasn’t justified at all in the experience on the night. I have attended these parties for 10 years. As I’ve changed job roles and companies I’ve always recommended the company to each new team. We’ve always had fantastic nights and continued going year after year. However, this year was absolutely shocking in comparison to others and having encouraged a group of new team mates, who’ve never been before, to pay out so much for this night, I was actually embarrassed and saddened.
When we arrived (at the allocated time) the organisers weren’t ready so we were ushered into what can only be described as a ‘holding pen’. This area was so crammed and very uncomfortable. Once we were able to go upstairs it was evident that the chosen venue wasn’t suitable at all. The shape of the room meant very few people could actually see any of the entertainment. We were sat on table 1 so should in theory have had a clear view however, as the majority of others couldn’t see many of them came and stood in front of our table completely blocking any view we did have. With such high ticket prices surely more care should be taken over the venue to ensure people can actually see what they are paying for. We decided that as we couldn’t see the stage we would go and enjoy the dodgems instead; only to find they didn’t actually exist. This was despite them being advertised in the original event info, several emails being received about them in the run up to the event and being identified on the leaflet description in the centre of the table. The décor in the venue was of a very poor standard too compared to every other year. The cheap red, snowman printed cover on the DJ stand looked like it would have cost 99p and given the amount of revenue this company must be making I find it shocking that this is the standard they’ve dropped to. Our next disappointment came with the food. Our table had paid well over £1000 yet we weren’t even provided with side plates. After cutting our bread buns every one of us was covered in crumbs and flour – surely a side plate isn’t expecting too much? The stone cold starter wasn’t very nice but perhaps this is down to personal taste. Nevertheless, one sharing dessert for the entire table again with no smaller plates was scandalous. Some of the group had really stretched their budget to be able to attend, based on my glowing reviews from previous years, only to find themselves sat passing a plate around to have a bite of brownie each! As most of us hadn’t eaten the starter and there was very little by way of dessert we were looking forward to the bacon sandwiches at midnight, only to discover there was nowhere near enough to go around. Additionally, our biggest let-down was the fact our pregnant colleague was told she would have to pay £28 for a soft drinks wrist band, to be offered diet coke or water only – we found this truly outrageous! At past events, with much cheaper ticket prices, everything has been amazing from the service, the venue, the décor, the food, the entertainment and all the added extras such as canapes on arrival and the silent disco. I’m not sure if the company has changed hands or if the organisers have just getting greedy but this year was such a letdown. To call it a ‘ best party ever’ is very ironic!

We had a beautiful Saturday night at Bristol Best Parties Ever this December.

The food was good. The DJ was very entertaining. The bars were fully stocked throughout the night and our pre-order was waiting for us on the table.

The dining area is not very spacious during dinner service but the dance floor is big.

All in all, thank you for all the hard work!

What a night, very well organised! Servers even explained allergen information at the table before the meal was served which was great as we had several in our party with diet requirements. Loved desert station & the dodgems! Perfect for any size of groups! Survivors breakfast is a great touch!

We had a really good night in Newcastle last week with Best Parties Ever! The whole event from start to finish was great. The food was excellent, the entertainment was fantastic and the staff were all brilliant. The venue itself was really good as well and very centrally located in Newcastle, making it easily accessible for all our party. This was our first time booking with Best Parties Ever but it won’t be the last as our whole group had a great evening!!

I went to a best parties event in Milton Keynes for my company’s Christmas party and had such a good time! Amazing food and continuous drinks, my favourite part was the dodgems and dancing the night away. Definitely looking forward to coming back next year

What a way to end the year with all my work colleagues, A beautiful venue and the staff was amazing. I hope the company will take us here again next Christmas.

Great work Christmas party! Food was good, entertainment was great and the dodgems was a nice touch too, we went on as a team which was really fun and stayed untill the end for survivors breakfast :) will definitely return next year!

Had a great time at my Christmas work party here, never been to one before as I have just started but my company come every year! I can see why as overall was fantastic! The food was hardly worthy of a Michelin star but it did the job. Entertainment was much better than I expected with dancers, a violinist and an acrobat. Wasn’t too happy that you had to pay for the dodgems but was only £5 a cart that could fit two so if you share only 2.50 each, can’t really complain. Only gave 4 stars as drinks at the bar were overly priced even for an event like this but my group had wristbands so this didn’t really matter for us, shame for the people who didn’t tho. Excited for next year!

Fantastic night was had for our christmas party. There was 30 of us and was a fantastic night had by all. Staff were fantastic and greeted us on arrival to take our coats and arrange our premier wrist bands of drinks all night and guided us to our table. Entertainment was brilliant and food was very nice and well managed by all the floor staff. Bar was run very well also and never waited for a drink. Served immediately. Dodgems was a fun addition to the night. Would highly recommend for a Christmas party event.
