This was a great service - I needed to get old pictures into digital photos. At all times I knew what was happening with my order - which was not expensive - I received the download of the photos followed by the return of the originals and a memory stick the following day. Would recommend and will use again

Best Photo Scan have digitised 3 years worth of photographs from the 1980s and I couldn't be happier with the process and result. I was wary about sending off treasured photos, but I was notified when they arrived at Best Photo Scan. My scanned photographs were made available to me online and I was able to download them in minutes to my own pc. I am very happy with resolution of the digitised photos and can now throw away 10 large photo albums in which these photographs were housed (and rarely looked at). Best Photo Scan provide an efficient service and in my opinion, the price for doing so is very fair. The website explains the process very clearly and my email communication was always answered promptly. I'm a very satisfied customer.

I sent about 1500 photos ranging from 1950 through to 2006. Before I sent these, I sent a few for a trial which I was very pleased with. They sent me an email through first, eith all the photos on. I had them seperated into years which was just perfect. They all came back exactly as I had sent them along with the three USB sticks I ordered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Amazing service. Better quality and a better price than others I looked at and the turnaround time was super quick. They even repacked my photos back to me in numerical order which made it easier for me when putting then back into my old album🙂 Would absolutely recommend!

An amazing service - I was kept informed constantly about my order, when it arrived, when it was scanned and when it was returned so I always knew what was happening.
The scanned photos are excellent and the pricing was very reasonable.
All in all a 5 star company.

The service worked a treat. It was all very organised and straightforward - with good tips on how to send the original photos. We were pleased with the final digital images. We went with the higher resolution images in this case, but will try the standard resolution next time I think

Fantastic service, quick efficient and excellent quality scans

Excellent speedy service and helpful communication by email. I was able to complete a photobook gift for my father In one weekend thanks to the exceptionally fast turnaround. I trusted them with 110 of my treasured family photos and the results are incredible.

Having read all the reviews before parting with my precious photos, I concluded that Best Photo Scan were the best option for restoring and digitising my old photos. In hind sight they were, in fact, the cheapest but not necessarily the best.
I had no worries about the delivery and return of my photos, however the quality of the scanned pics is, in my opinion, quite poor.
The colours on the copies were nowhere near as vibrant as the originals, blues turned to greys, creams to white, very little contrast between colours, and all the photos looked washed out and dreary. Such a shame.
Having had to scan some photos myself because they didn't measure up to the rules listed by Best Photo Scan, my conclusion is that you are far better off to scan your photos yourself - if you have the time. My scanner is not a sophisticated one but the results from the 6 photos I did are FAR better than the results from Best Photo Scan.
On the plus side, BPS did communicate very well at all stages of the process.

Absolutely brilliant service. Took some ancient pictures of my parents and did a fantastic job of turning them digital and somehow making them much better than the originals.

Having found lots of old photos, some dating back to the very early 1900s, I was very anxious and worried about sending them to be scanned with the possibility of losing them. But reading reviews for Best Scan I made the decision to send them off. I was pleased with the service received, they let me know when they received them and kept me informed during the whole process. I am now looking at photos I didn't even know existed. I have been able to show some to my mum, who has dementia, and she is loving looking at photos of her relatives. I will not hesitate to send some more to them for scanning.
