Scam review site

This is a scam, so avoid. The reviewers don’t exist and the glowing reviews are false. The products are of low quality, not as advertised and take weeks to arrive. I was duped by some super sounding ski goggles for my kids but managed to get a refund from the supplier ‘max deals’ (claiming to be based in Hong Kong) as I realised my mistake as soon as I paid and luckily after they honoured the refund.

Suspicions about Best Pulse

My dad used this review site and was very disappointed. As the recommended rice cooker he bought was cheap and nasty for £69 and seemingly (according to my Google search) available under different Chinese brand names but highly recommended by this review site Best Pulse.

The reviewer "Ella Drake" seems to claim to be a reviewer of diverse expertise not necessarily impossible but questionable. Also her other reviews use similar lazily repeated phrases as the review my dad saw.

The other reviewers on Trust Pilot who suspect the site is a sponsored platform or a lazy attempt to generate affiliate commissions are clearly right.

Who is Noah Bishop?!!

Who is Noah Bishop? I now discover he is made up / stolen photo and a creative bio.

I did a google search on “best bone conduction earphones for swimming”…I found an article on ‘Best pulse uk’ by expert Noah Bishop. It all looked legit..reviews of top 5 of 2025…

Of course the No. 1 item was at a “special price offer” (but so were most things on Black Friday week!!). I FELL for the scam and followed the breadcrumb link to the thieves (Top Deals Max UK).

£84!!! Got sent sub-standard item 2 weeks later - from China!!!! The process of trying to get a refund is almost identical to others’ experiences. They give you the run around / asking for photos & videos - then ask for more detailed explanations and then: ghost you.

I am very, very lucky - I used PayPal; opened a case, input all the evidence and PayPal agreed with me by processing my refund. Top Deals Max (also known as Best offer Pay - and other fronts) can send me a return shipping label and I will happily return their goods (still brand new and un-used in the original packaging).

Lesson learned!

This site lead directly to Elite deals…

This site lead directly to Elite deals on.uk, which lead onto UK.topdealsmax.com. I purchased a radio for £79 which has never arrived.

How is this site allowed to continue. Many other people will be defrauded.

WHO IS NOAH BISHOP

How can you trust a company who claims their reviewer, Noah Bishop, is an expert in so many areas with between 8-12 years experience, I came across him looking for reviews on trekking poles where he did a convincing piece about problems he had in the past with cheap poles but he’s also an “expert” in canine behavior, photography, dental hygiene, sleep technology and underwater metal detectors, not forgetting “gadgets” generally and I’m sure there are more. DO NOT RELY ON ANY REVIEWS FROM THIS COMPANY.

Fake reviews.

This outfit is producing, certainly in the case of the CyKamera product, a false picture and false information.

Too late for me, but keep away from it.

Fake review website

Fake review website. We have Ella Drake, "Senior Beauty Analyst with 8 years of experience testing over 100 skincare devices." However, we have the same Ella Drake 12 years experience as kitchen product specialist recommending stuff on Topselectioncom..., so not going to make inferences as to her real specialty. What I do know is that all these websites have the same look & feel, and the only drawback on the recommended product is that; "Cons: Frequently out of stock due to high demand" Also, these websites do not have a contact information, mention a physical address. SCAM!

Stay away from this website - fraudulent

Stay away from this website, it’s fraudulent.

Based on the recommendation they made on cycling cameras (I wanted to add the link but trustpilot does not allow links in reviews) I bought the one they put at the top and I have not had any luck making it work, the instructions are rubbish. They do not make any sense.

When I decided to investigate a bit more to see if I could find some instructions anywhere else, I found out that the same camera is being sold everywhere for less than £20 and they charged me £70 so they take a hefty commission of £50?

They call it Cykamera but in fact the product that arrived does not say Cykamera anywhere, just DV Portable Sports Full HD 1080P. So they make it difficult for you to check somewhere else beforehand.

The most outrageous thing is that the reviews are published by a fake person. If you to the page you will see that the photo of Adam Clarke (supposedly the reviewer) is actually Dan Ball an American TV host. They even had the audacity to say that the only negative thing of this camera was that it was normally sold out!! There are tonnes of websites selling it. I am very angry for falling in this trap, Bestpulse, shame on you, you are thieves and cons.

I searched for best electronic notepads and BestPulse came up with one top of the list. Top marks Trustpilot but now discover not on Trustpilot and purchased product. Instructions all in chinese, not called NottiPad as purchased, no app with this name or different names, website purchased it from all singing all dancing, great reviews on BestPulse but now received don't know what to do with this.
