Worst betting/casino ever

I had build up the machine for the bonus after putting over 200 euros the machine crashed once it had reached full build up, provided them with video, photos and everything for 4 weeks they have been telling me they are looking into it and are just waiting for the game manufacturer to resolve the issue, nothing has happend, machine is still crashed cant even press on the spin bottom and they cant even resolve the machine nor can they provide compensation for all the money I put into the machine 4 weeks later and 350 emails and still I get the same response we are looking into it.

What's worse is they cant even compensate a clear error from their end its a big fat scam and they even refuse to close my account upon 200 times requesting this as I would just continue this with scj - gaming committee as I have stored all the evidence its a big fat scam keep away from them (the support are even worse keep telling you the same bs we are looking into it bit$h please it cant be taking 4 weeks and ongoing for such issue either compensate me or close my account immediately as requested 200 times my account Hamudijo99

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Betano if you care about responsible gambling and ethical business practices.

I informed their support twice that I have a gambling problem and requested my account to be closed. Despite this, they failed to act and allowed me to continue playing, leading to further losses of nearly €2,000. Only after I threatened legal action did they finally close my account – but by then, the damage had already been done.

Their so-called "Responsible Gaming Team" exists only on paper, as they completely ignored their own terms and conditions. Instead of taking real action, they avoided my messages and kept sending generic copy-paste responses. Many MGA-licensed casinos act immediately when a player self-reports a gambling problem, but Betano failed to follow even the most basic responsible gambling protocols.

If you are looking for a casino that actually cares about player protection, this is NOT the one. Betano is only interested in squeezing as much money as possible out of vulnerable players, ignoring their own rules when it suits them. Absolutely disgraceful behavior from an MGA-licensed company!

I am now taking this case forward to the MGA and other legal authorities to ensure they are held accountable. If you value fairness and integrity, stay far away from Betano!

Bet €50, won €130. Tried to withdraw, was informed I could only withdraw once I had reached €500 in balance/bets. Returned later to bet €130, balance was €0. Checked transaction history, noticed they nullified my balance without warning. Summarizing: I bet €50, won €130, and was never paid.

Constant deposit errors.

Requires bank statement and passport or national ID card copies (arguably illegal in Portugal) after nullifying your account when you attempt to withdraw. Rejects crystal-clear high-resolution national ID card copies accepted by everyone else because they're allegedly "unclear and low-resolution". Eventually agreed to credit €20 after I threatened legal action.

App requires precise location tracking (?!).

Misleading spins disguised as penalty kicks. Scenario suggests 5/6 chances of winning but it's more like 1/10, the keeper guesses/saves virtually every kick, the scenario is an illusion to fool you into thinking you have high chances.

Otherwise good.

Good free slots/spins that award (small amounts of) money you can withdraw.

Update (06/13/2025): Won freespins, couldn't play them. Complained with screenshots with metadata, they ignored them, suggested I was lying, and offered no compensation.

Update (12/23/2025): Another fake scenario with fake probabilities, 3 chests to choose from, me and my friend never guessed once in ~60 tries except when there was a guaranteed "reward" basically consisting of depositing €10, winning a €5 bonus, and betting everything repeatedly until you lost everything.

Update (01/11/2026): They advertised 5 freespins and €25 freebet for €100 deposits. I deposited €100 and received 5 freespins and €2 freebet. The freespins were basically a rigged airplane game with huge buttons obscuring your view of an airplane that always exploded ~1 second before I tried to cash out despite constantly lowering my cash out threshold. I complained about the freebet. They refused to compensate.

Update (04/13/2026): Easter promotion had you pick 1 of 3 eggs suggesting 1/3 odds, yet me and my friend failed ~9/10, so actual odds are ~1\10. After it was over, they restored the rocket game, but all prizes were downgraded (e.g. before, 1x = 5 free spins, now only 2).

Extremely unhelpful customer service. ID verification was a nightmare. Uploaded ID, it was rejected reasons: id does not show all the information. Asked, which information its not showing, response is please upload ur ID again, and again they reject with the same message. Asked to delete personal data. They replied by saying: we are keeping your data because you agreed to our T&C. Pointed out that it is against GDPR.. and they once again said, you agreed to T&C.

Scam Alert. Avoid at all costs. Not trustworthy at all.
