Red flags~ BetterCV absolutely SCAM site.
One you paid trial fee 1.95 USD, deception start.
they charge you in different ways without your authorization or consent.

This is a fraudulent site

This is a fraudulent site. Once you signed for a 7-day trial at a low fee, it then quickly charge for another USD $20 without my consent for a so call “professional “ review. There is no confirmation or agreement button to click before they charge you and refused to refund also.

BetterCV are scamming people!!!

BetterCV are scamming people!!!. I just paid a CV of 7 day subscription today on 10 March 2026... seconds later without my permission they withdraw monthly subscription fee in my account from my credit card By name TSFF Holding limited....!!
I want a full refund immediately else I'll report to consumer IT court. I see this happened to multiple people.

No design skills needed

I’m not good at design at all, so resumes always stressed me out. Here the visual part is already solved, and it still looks professional. I just focused on content.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO BETTER CV- ULTIMATE SCAM

I signed up to make one CV and paid for it, and a week later I get a charge on my card for a monthly subscription I DID NOT sign up for!!!! That is highly unethical and manipulative. I emailed the company, and they sent me an AI response saying, according to our terms, we can't refund you! This is theft. DO NOT USE BETTER CV. DO NOT USE BETTER CV. DO NOT USE BETTER CV. I am so mad right now.

Given the similarity in the user experience, payment flow, and billing pattern between BetterCV and Resume.io, I would like to raise a concern that both services may be operating under similar or related billing practices.

I am not making a definitive claim, but I believe this pattern could potentially cause confusion for users, especially when the transition from a one-time payment to a recurring subscription is not sufficiently clear.

Unfortunately, I am unable to attach supporting files on certain platforms such as Trustpilot. However, I have already sent screenshots of the relevant email communications and transaction details to bettercv for your review.

On 9 March 2026, I purchased a one-time service from BetterCV and Resumeio and was charged approximately THB 64 and THB 95 respectively. I did not knowingly subscribe to any recurring or annual plan.

Subsequently, on 16 March 2026, my credit card was charged for an annual subscription without my explicit consent or clear prior notification from BetterCV and Resumeio at THB 999.18 and THB 999.18 respectively. Then, on 1st April 2026, BetterCV also charged me at THB 303.01. I did not authorize this recurring charge.

In light of the above, I kindly request your consideration for a full refund of the subscription charges, as I did not knowingly authorize or intend to subscribe to any recurring plan.

I would greatly appreciate your review of this matter and your support in resolving this issue fairly.

My traumatic experience of being scammed by BetterCV

My experience today was traumatic as I feel I was scammed badly by this company called BetterCv. I was editing my CV and I opted for 1.95 USD plan for 7 days. Then it was charged in my bank and it seemed ok for only 3-4 minutes. A pop up option came and I immediately closed it and I instantly got a message from my bank that they deducted almost 21 USD. I reached out to the site and reported it and asked why I was charged. I get an email first that I am a premium client now and then within one minute they write my subscription is canceled. I repeatedly emailed them asking why I was charged and why my 7 day trail was cancelled within 20 minutes despite taking full amount. They refused any refund or any explanation why I was charged that extra 20 USD and they have not responded. So now its about safety and financial scamming for me and although the amount may be small but I am going to use legal means through my bank, Mastercard and Payable etc so that others don’t fall victim of this scam if they don’t refund my hard earned money. They scammed me and they either refund or I will try whatever legal and online means I can to inform everyone what this so called company is doing. I am also worried about personal information leaks and sensitive data link as our CVs have sensitive information. So I may involve international security agencies as I am concerned about data leak, theft, online scam.

Edit: Your reply is wrong and a lie @BetterCV. I have not received any messages from you . You have not reached out to me in any form. In fact you have not responded to any of my emails after flatly denying a refund. Its a scam and you have taken my money without my permission. So I am proceeding with legal action.
Edit 2: I already have emailed many times. You are not responding. Bharati.. check that name that you duped today of 20 USD after charging 1.95 USD. You know who I am as you are replying here but not responding to my emails. So I am officially raising a payment dispute with my bank and Mastercard for taking my money.
Updateb3: I never got any email nor my money was refunded. They tried to mock me by sending a mail asking how satisfactory their “service “ was. They are scammers and those who are leaving 5 star reviews are either bots or paid people. Stay away from them. They take ur money and never even acknowledge that you exist . They respond here to show they are legit but thats a drama as they don’t do anything except writing a response here. At the end of the day the story is they scam people by taking card details. Never ever share your card details with them. I am taking all the legal steps needed not only to get my hard earned money back but also to make sure they can’t scam others.
