Used the site to research hearing aids

Used the site to research hearing aids. I have found it referring to three former audiologists making claims for aids at the cheap end of the spectrum and making comparisons and with cost details across the wide hearing aid range.
Latest audiologist is Dr Peter Whitmore, two ladies previously. Their researches all very similar.
None of the audiologists show on internet searches. Would have thought they appeared, as have published their research on hearing aids, it is said.
Finally, at the end of the article is a disclaimer saying it is an advert and not a news article, blog or consumer protection update.
I have no axe to grind. I bought a pair of Hear Well aids as emergency back up I can afford to lose in strenuous activity. They magnify sound and suit my specific purpose.
Quality of received sound not as good as my existing Oticon pair. Maybe the audiologists could look at that?

Points of concern regarding your “Tested 5 Hearing Aids” article
• The article presents itself as an independent, audiologist-tested comparison, yet it appears to be affiliate marketing content, with financial compensation for referrals disclosed only in fine print at the bottom of the page.
• Claims of testing by a named “audiologist” are made without verifiable credentials, affiliations, methodology, or published data, which may mislead readers into assuming clinical independence where none is demonstrated.
• Premium, clinic-fitted hearing aids are compared unfavourably with a low-cost direct-to-consumer product without like-for-like conditions, professional fitting, or transparent test criteria.
• The page strongly promotes a “risk-free” or “45-day trial”, while failing to give equal prominence to significant return costs reportedly charged by the supplier (e.g. large “cleaning and checking” fees that effectively negate any refund).
• Emotional and authority-based persuasion (fear of hearing loss, appeals to dignity, expert framing) is used in place of clear technical specifications, limitations, and consumer risks.
• Such presentation risks confusing readers, particularly older or vulnerable consumers, about the difference between:
o medically fitted hearing aids,
o over-the-counter amplifiers,
o and the real financial implications of “trial” offers.
• At minimum, transparency would require prominent upfront disclosure that:
o the article is promotional/affiliate content,
o testing is not independent clinical evaluation,
o and trial/refund conditions may involve substantial non-refundable fees.
