They are Scammers. I paid for a pro and not able to download any theme.

1- They haven’t released any updates since the Publisher Theme version 7.11 (2021).
2- Even if you install the 7.11 version of the Publisher Theme (2021), the license keys do not work.
3- Demo pages are missing, and their status is unclear.
4- The last update to their blog pages was on January 1, 2025. The blog post title was “7 Best WooCommerce Blocks Plugins 🏆 2025 (Free & Pro).”
5- They do not share any feedback or even minor updates through their social media pages or email addresses.
6- The theme design team currently has no roadmap. It may have been removed or abandoned.

Finally, the owner of Better Studio and the members of its team are not fully transparent. The reasons behind not updating this beautiful WordPress theme, the demo pages not working, the license code malfunctioning despite version 7.11, the absence of a roadmap, and the lack of announcements on social media raise questions about the future of the Better Studio website.

Final note: Either resolve this uncertainty and show that you value your users, or issue a formal apology and shut down your site completely.

I have been using the publisher theme since 2018 on my website and the features have been unmatchable but sadly as of 2024 the theme hasn't received any update in the last 3 years and is now outdated. I am in the process of shifting my website from publisher to Elementor. Till the time publisher developers were working, it was one of the best themes on WordPress and was way ahead of its time. It's sad to see a product which could have been multi-million dollar failed because developers/owners didn't pay much attention to it. RIP Publisher thanks for all the amazing memories but I guess now its time to move on.

This page as of November 20, 2023 only contains a fake cookie form that will only lead to scam third-party pages. Every single button will create a randomized link to pages for browser extensions, youtube videos and ad-blockers. THere is no content, just scam.

Hasn't updated since 2021.

I had high hopes for this company but it seems that they just went dark. Wouldn't be so bad but they are still selling their now defective product that was supposed to have "lifetime" updates. Not only that but now they want monthly subscriptions instead of a one time purchase. :(

Hello, I bought the plugin WPShield from BetterStudio and after installing it immediately broke my wordpress site. So about 2 hours after the purchase I claimed the stated 14 day money back guarantee and wrote to them. Unfortunately I get neither an answer nor any money back. There is now a criminal case against BetterStudios via Revolut Business and the EU. Here should be warned. It is a pure scam site!

The worst company there is, support is rubbish, they don't answer you, and worst of all, they are scammers, don't BUY FROM THEM, they will cancel your license and don't give satisfaction or support to anyone. I've called support for more than 6 months and nobody solves anything, they just roll up, they are SCAMMERS.

Their WP theme has obviously been discontinued since 2021, but they still sell it on their website. I made a complaint to the support who answered that their theme 'Publisher' version 8 is in beta test and that it should be available soon. Unfortunately, I've been waiting for 4 months, there is still no update. The theme becomes totally unusable and it even destroyed my site when I switched to Wordpress 6.0... In short, do not buy from them!

If you purchase the publisher theme and ask for a refund you will not get back your money.

The support will stall you as long as they can and then wouldn't answer you.

I bought their Lifetime plan, which allows me to use the plan to create an unlimited number of sites using the theme, but at the moment my license was stopped, I contact support, but no one responds, and if they respond, they respond to you with provocative responses, such as we will contact you again after communicating with the competent team, and no one answers, I bought since 29 July 2021, this is the time when my license was suspended, and there is no life for those who call.

I have bought a Publisher theme for a lifetime license. But in less few months they closed my license. From September 2022 to December 2022 till I'm writing this review, They are not replying on the support portal, Facebook page, and email. Don't waste your money on this website betterstudio.com. It's a scam site don't trust them.

This is a very stupid company. I bought a plugin from them, it was not what I expected. When I asked for a refund, it's been almost 4 months now and they have no response. If you don't want to be cheated, you are requested to maintain a distance of 1 million hands from them.

Very slow themes, it's must need an updates

untrusted developesr, dont waste and lose your money to buy something from them, they give no refund and after a time they stop the license and no support is going to help you

i bought the lifetime license on 2019 .. and waited for one year there was no updates for the theme or any plugins .. no support also helping me

after that they did few updates only to make the theme work with the new version of wordpress but since over one year now again no updates

the theme is very slow and full with bugs and when i asked for support many times they now stopped my license and show me a warning to contact support .. and again no support will help you ...
they only sell full bugs product to steel the money ..

BEWARE - betterstudio.com these guys are not to be trusted. They advertise a 30 Day Refund Guarantee. But when you request it you do not get the refund - and you get absolutely no response from them at all !

BetterStudio,(betterstudio.com )never trust this company. We bought a plugin Better Content Protector Pro that has a lot of errors and features that are not working. Before buying, we asked if they have a refund if the product has errors and they said they totally refund within 30 days. But after purchasing and testing the plugin, we complain on the same day and requested a refund. They never ever reply to the emails, they do not reply to the refund request form, and their customer support is very very poor. This company is a real scammer. Do not deal with this type of company.
