Customer care responded promptly answering my questions and any concerns I had. Dr. Peck was amazing. She took her time with my pet's exam and answered all the questions I had. I wish I had called sooner. I needed a quality of life assessment on my 13 year old golden. The vet was caring and took her time. Discussed all options and came up with a good plan. Stress free for my dog and we were dispensed meds on site. Highly recommend.

Both vets were friendly and supportive of the situation with the cat. Our cat is very shy and they had to practically do exam under the bed with the cat!
Vet and Assistant were professional and caring.
Both the Vet and Assistant were down to business and straight to the point in all communications with me. They handled my ill and frightened kitty with all the needed care and professionalism for this situation. Not a complex issue but I felt that they listened to me and my reports of the 'new' behaviors that I had witnessed in the previous few weeks. The Doctor offered options, and took action when my choice was made. And the house call was not nearly as expensive as I had imagined.
Personal Service and Compassionate Care
BetterVet provided professional care for my older cat and handled her effectively, and provided a non-threatening experience for Emma. They performed a wellness exam and assessed her health through a blood test. The results came very quickly and my cat should respond well to the protocol. This service is indispensable and I recommend it very highly!

So convenient. Our vet was super knowledgeable and really good with our dogs. Quick diagnosis and treatment plan is already helping less than 2 days later. Cost comparable to our old brick and mortar vet. Very positive experience. We will use this service again.
Wish I had known about BetterVet sooner
Dr. Hefner and his assistant did a great job with our anxious older dog. They were courteous, calm, professional and efficient, identifying the problem and treating it on the spot. Billing was reasonable, meds dispensed on the spot, saving us a trip to the pharmacy, and did not try to "upsell" us, Highly recommended.
Scammers
I made a home visit appointment with Dr. Yavaraski in the Detroit area for my 2 yr old cat. Filled out the necessary paperwork for a wellness visit. My cat suffers anxiety/redirected aggression so it was in hopes to get medication for her behavior issue as there is another cat in household and they are living separately. To avoid any surprise fees I made 2 phone calls prior with questions about cost. Both times the cost of $99 for visit/$89 for travel fee was confirmed. Get this:
A few hours before my scheduled appointment I get a text that says the Vet wanted to call ahead to get some history and give me an estimate which I found odd? I spent over 30 minutes 2 days before filling out a detailed history/info form they sent by email. After giving her the same info as I previously stated on the form she says the appt is going to be $491!!!!!! $300 over what I was told. When I questioned it she became abrupt and very rude and asked if I wanted to cancel and hung up on me!! I had no explanation or break down of cost so I had no idea where this number came from. I called BetterVet customer service after being hung up on by Dr. Y to confirm I would NOT be charged a cancellation fee being I was being withheld info about cost and would have not made this appointment had they been honest and upfront from the beginning. The fact they call the day of the appt with an estimate raised an immediate red flag. Just another Vet in it for the money and doesn’t really care about animals. They surprise you with this estimate after you’ve gone past the 48hr cancellation window rule so they can charge a $75 cancellation fee. I will not be paying any cancellation fee and will very loudly dispute the charge if they attempt it. If they try, I will call my bank to dispute charges/do a charge back being they weren’t providing clear upfront cost information. What a racket! Stay away! Con game!
