tricked into subscription when using QR code of a parking app
I got 'scammed', or let's say 'tricked' by using a legitimate QR code on a parking machine to arrange payment for the parking. To be more precise: to download a parking app. Next to the legitimate link however, there was a paid advertisement that says something like 'activate your account', and you may confuse this as being a part of the process to pay for your parking space. As I did. What followed was a registration with a payment of € 1,00 (although it was announced as free), and with that transaction apparently you subscribe to an unwanted service related to books, videos and such. Some days later I was charged a fee of € 39,99. And I suppose that charge will keep coming in on a monthly basis until you take some action. Based upon the negative experiences described on Trustpilot, I decided not to try to cancel the subscription, but cancel the debit card I used instead. So, that was a lesson of 40 EUR, with the conclusion that I need to be more careful when using QR codes on parking machines.

Absolute scam same experience as many…
Absolute scam same experience as many other people, paying for parking in a rush pop up site believed to be paying for parking takes £1 to verify then later takes £39.39. Reported to bank, cancelled card, managed to get refund after persevering first they refuse then they offer half then got full refund. This is an AI reply email service so keep sending more insistent emails it seems programmed to make you give up but keep going and hopefully you will get your money back
Bvod dot club scam
Just everyone else, I spent $1, then $4, then they tried taking $59.99 but I'm using a card that only has $50 of room (just in case of scams like this). Go to 'bvod.com' and at the bottom click 'cancel subscription'
I just did it, hope it works or I'll have to close that card 🙄
It was supposed to be for 'free sample of pasta' 😆 scammers

I inadvertently subscribed to Bevod…
I inadvertently subscribed to Bevod paying initial subscription charge of £1. Since then I received monthly payments demand of £39.99 at the end of each month..Fortunately these transactions have been intercepted by my credit card provider but it is a real hassle having to refuse payment every month end and have some legitimate payments refused as a result.
Scam company
Scam company. I went to pay at wagamamas using the qr code but this one popped up. It's taken £1 or 39.99 and 29.99 twice from my account. Definite fraud. Started taking payments under bvod.club but now changed to PYD*BGME.PRO. 2 numbers associated 0808 175 1057 and 0808 169 7196 that just ring out. The support email address bounces back. Today got a call from 01206 699946 claiming to be support team they said they were customer service but couldn't provide the business address (other than California) or company name. They did say something about Pro.gamer?? Have reported to action fraud.
This company uses a fraudulent QR reader to get your card details
This company extracts money by setting up a QR reader app. When you use the app they harvest your card details by charging you £1 to use the scanner. This gives the company your card details so they can put the info in to subscribing you to a 'club' at £39.99. It's total fraud. Do not use a QR reader without checking it is reputable!

Bevod must be the same as Be-chef.club as it is exactly same address! Digotech Ltd Digotech Ltd, 81 Little Pynchons, GB CM18 7DE Harlow, UK.. I was scammed on an NCP car park. Check out the Be-chef.club reviews on here. No machine to pay.. so stupidly scanned the QR code on NCP info ‘How to pay’ board ..which then activated an OTP code via my bank.. luckily recognised that be-chef.club wasn’t legit so ignored and drove off car park. My bank contacted me a few days later regarding a ‘new subscription’ for said Co, for £39.99 pr mth!!? so had applied a block. Bank then had to change my debit card No & new card sent out. Never again will I park on NCP car parks nor scan any QR codes. Lesson learned. Absolute criminals! Please be aware! This has been going on for a long time it seems going by the dates of the reviews. Why hasn’t the Police/Banks/Fraud Squad cracked down on this?!
