Horrible Customer Service and Treatment
I opened an account 4 months ago, and I used the bank to schedule bill payments and withdrawals. On Monday, my account was restricted due to suspected fraud. I called them to ask why, and they said that, according to their policy, they have the right to close a bank account if they suspect fraud. I agreed and requested to just have the bank account closed. My frustration is that I called them 4 times to request that my phone number be removed as PayID, as I need to use it to open a new bank account. The first 3 customer service reps told me it is possible they have lodged the forms, and it will be done. waited for nothing, today I called again and was told our fraud team is not willing to take your phone number off the payID. You will need to lodge a complaint with your new bank. Are you being serious, in there word its not something we are willing to do. Now I am stuck because my phone number is still attached to the closed bank account, and I am unable to use it with my new bank for PayID. I would stay away for bank that prides itself on customer service. Honestly, the treaments as been horrible. Release my number, Beyond Bank that all i am asking
