Beyond The Game Coaching Academy Beyond The Game is an inclusive football coaching academy based in Failsworth, Greater Manchester, specialising in creating supportive and enjoyable football opportunities for children and young people with SEND. We believe football should be accessible to everyone. Our sessions provide a safe, understanding and pressure-free environment where each child can participate at their own pace, build confidence, develop social skills and, most importantly, enjoy being part of football. We offer small-group SEND football sessions, goalkeeper coaching, relaxed Discover & Play sessions and 1-to-1 support, catering for a wide range of ages, abilities and individual needs. At Beyond The Game, success isn’t just measured in goals or footballing ability. My son absolutely loves attending…

My son absolutely loves attending Beyond the Game. The sessions are so inclusive, relaxed and welcoming, and the coach is fantastic with all the children.

I especially love that the children can choose how they engage with the football sessions, with no pressure to participate in a certain way. It’s a brilliant environment where every child is supported to be themselves. I would highly recommend it!

A honest review please read and hopefully you’ll trust my opinion!!

After trying different football sessions, for our son who has autism, we were at our whitts end because of the way he presents and the lack of understanding from coaches and parents.
We came across Beyond the Game, the only SEN football session in north Manchester.
Straight away from the first session we knew our boy was going to be able be part of a team and access football with others successfully!! We found everyone is understanding, empathetic, supportive. There has been no need for us to be constantly explaining or no need to wave his access card around to show people that our son has additional needs.

Marc, is also very understanding, professional and takes the time to answer any questions or takes on advise given to help our son stay regulated and happy.

I do spread the word about beyond the game to other parents who have children with SEN or disabilities. It’s about time we have access to football sessions that are welcoming and safe!!

From one carer giver to another if your child loves football then beyond the game is a place they will love, and you will enjoy watching them grow without being anxious and worried that they are going to act up!
