Bavarian beer delivered to your doorstep
I have been trying to source a direct supply of Bavarian beers as the UK suppliers tend to focus on the likes of Paulaner, Bitburger, Lowenbrau, Augustiner, etc.
Finally found bierstars.de a month or so ago, and I'm very glad I did. Website is a Bavarian beer lovers dream, with hundreds of Bavarian Braueries and Klosterbraueries to choose from. Set up an account easily enough and selected a Bavarian classic, Maxlrainer Schloss Gold. Prices are in USD and do not include delivery. Still cheaper than the UK Suppliers even with a hefty £15 or so carriage.
Please note delivery is laborious depending on what you order. It took just over a fortnight for me, but to have this standard of beer delivered direct to your door, it is well worth the wait....
Please also note you'll be charged just over £2 by bank in foreign transaction charges, but all in @ £2.70 a pint, can't complain. Prost!
