This is absolutely the worst Hop On Off bus company every!! First there was NO air on the full bus, it was 100 degrees outside! The only person that had air was the driver! Ridiculous!! The company... See more

Disappointed with Miami Big Bus
I loved this SanFransisco, but not the same experience in Miami AT ALL. There were stops that they weren't picking up at and the app did not reflect this so we wasted time just sitting there. The bus was full and we had to sit in the bottom where it was HOT. The bus stopped at the station and we had to change buses after that terrible experience. We wasted so much time trying to get on this damn bus. NEVER again in Miami unless some changes are made.
Our 1st bus departed on time from…
Our 1st bus departed on time from Collins st. It traveled about 5 blocks to next stop and we were told that the brakes were not working properly and we would have to take another bus. We walked back to our 1st stop and waited for the next bus 20 minutes later that was on time and we boarded only to find out that the mic that the guide was using was not working. So unless you were sitting next to him you could not hear what he was saying. The recorded narration was full of static. Both guides handled it the best they could. We went back for the 7pm night tour at Senor Frogs and we waited until 7:15pm. Another guest that was waiting called and was told that the bus was running 30 minutes late. We waited until 7:40pm and gave up. That Saturday was not a good day for Big Bus Miami. We were able to go on Sunday tours and all went well and we thoroughly enjoyed the trips. All guides were great, but the maintenance is lacking.
Not so great
Not much organization. We had no idea where to go to get the bus. Once we found out it took a long time to get to the area to pick up the tickets, the guy who gave them to us was not friendly or helpful. Then it took a long time to get to the departure point from the area that the guy who gave us the ticketss. It seems that we spent most of our day going back and forth trying to get the tickets and then find the right bus or get to the boat. The guide on the bus talked so fast it was hard to understand him or have a chance to actually see what he was talking about before the bus raced through it. It was also complicated by the radio frequency having a lot of Static. Communication and organization need a lot of improvement. We did enjoy the boat tour though once we were on it. The guide was very good.

Morning very good tour and guide for city portion, afternoon bus had to be swapped due to technology issues, then narrator provided very little information for South Beach part of tour.

The microphone and headphones didn’t really work. It was windy and the bus itself was somewhat loud so we couldn’t hear the guide. The city is beautiful and I’d give this tour a second chance! Please fix the headset issues.
Needs improvement...
The Red Line tour was great, but the Blue Line tour was awful. The guide did not provide any information and the soundtrack did not work until 3/4 of the way through the route. Big waste of time.
Two days ticket
Two days ticket: day 1: old bus, head phone system unfortunately not working; day 2: newer bus, much better
Great tour and greater customer service!
If you want to be able to see a much as you can in Miami in 1 or 2 days this is something you definitely do! All the staff were very knowledgeable as they gave you the history of Miami during your tour. Also, the Millionaire Row cruise was great! I have to honestly give our last driver Mercy the biddy biggest compliment. We left our suitcase on the bus at the last stop and I called they office and they got a hold of her as she was on her way back to office to go home and she puller the bus over to wait for my husband to meet her to pick up the suitcase. She waited for over a 1/2hr because of traffic and i appreciated it greatly!
One star only BECAUSE
One star only BECAUSE: the bus tour is OK but not the price! 40,- dollars is too much for a boring, dirty and ugly city!!! Miami is so ugly, I never saw before a city more ugly, I am sorry but that's true. The airport is terrible and the there carpet so dirty, unbelievable. Welcome to Havana? Is this a joke? Little Havana is only a part of a typical Florida ugly city not more, no Cuba flair! Miami Beach is not ugly not pretty, simply a boring Island, a paradise for capitalists and mafiosis! Remove the few private buildings and there will stay nothing! 150 years ago they had slaves in Florida and It's still to see. Rich people live on plastic islands in expensive buildings and needs security people with big guns. THIS IS NOT A FREE LIFE. Parkland is an example!!! GUNS = WAR !!!

Robert was very knowledgeable and was a great guide- The tour is an excellent intro to Miami and gave us ideas about where we wanted to explore further later-
acceptable !
The tour was hood, but they don’t have any signs at the stop bus.... If you buy you ticket online, like us, and you try too look a bus stop....it’s very very difficult!
Honestly, Not Worth the Money
Honestly, I was extremely disappointed with the Big Bus Tours. In fact, even though we had tickets for the boat ride and night tour, we decided to not go to those since the daytime tour was so bad.
Main complaints:
1. They give you headphones at the beginning of the tour so that you can hear the tour guide who is on the top deck of the bus giving info about Miami. If you have a seat on the top deck, you can hear them without the headphones. If you are on the bottom part of the bus - good luck - because 4/4 headphone jacks that we tried throughout the course of the tour did not work.
2. The tour guides seemed amateur. They went on and on about things that were meaningless but didn't give much info about the city/the buildings we were passing. Example: One tour guide talked for 10 minutes about the Superbowl. While it is fine to mention it since the superbowl was the night before our tour - 10 minutes of irrelevant information wasn't what I paid over $100 for.
3. One of the buses that we were on had film over the windows (I assume to keep out the sun) but you couldn't see ANYTHING through the windows. One bus had normal windows, so that was OK. Unless you are on the top deck of the bus with tinted windows, don't even bother.
4. One bus also had air conditioners above the seat that were dripping water. Our bus was full so I couldn't move, and ever 10 seconds water was dripping on me from the AC.
Positive things:
1. One tour guide did give us some good information about where was best to eat in Little Havana. We took that advice and were not disappointed with that suggestion.
2. The bus drivers are super skilled at getting the bus through small streets and cramped places.
A great way to see Miami.Would recommend the deluxe tour …
Would recommend the deluxe tour package. Night tour was excellent. The millionaires row boat cruise was a definite highlight of our trip. The service was good, the guides were entertaining. Lost a point as they did not make the last pickup of the evening at one of the stops on the city tour. My wife is handicapped and really was not planning on walking back to the depot to get the night tour bus. The beach tour last pickup was 30 minutes late the second day. Would recommend the Vizcaya and Wynnwood stops on the city tour. South Beach was the highlight on the night tour and beach tour. Overall a good job by Big Bus.
Love the app
Especially loved the app so we could track where the buses would be. It was a big help in making connections in a timely way. The routes were excellent and allowed us to get the overview of Miami that we wanted.
Terrible on the South Beach route
I'd prefer to give separate reviews for the two routes: Miami and South Beach. We started on the South Beach route. It was terrible. We were not given a rain poncho, nor told they were available when we boarded. We sat up top where the "guide" was, plugged in our headphone and started the route. The guide said maybe two sentences over the next 20 minutes. It started to rain, and we all had to squeeze in downstairs, since we had no ponchos. The guide came down, but left the microphone upstairs, so there was certainly nothing more being said about what we were passing. There was no air conditioning downstairs, so with the amount of people (standing room only) it was sweltering. THE DOUBLE DOORS TO ENTER THE BUS WERE LEFT OPEN FOR MUCH OF THIS RIDE. THAT CANNOT BE LEGAL!!!! AWhen we arrived at the hub between the two routes, I told the ticketing attendant, but was blown off.
The Miami route was much different. The guide spoke the entire time. He gave us a poncho as soon as we boarded. We learned a lot about the city and its architecture and history.
The experience was great. But the booking was awful!
The experience was really great! Is not the first time I take a tour. But I was very disappointed with the booking. I was charged TWICE. In the first attempt the transaction was denied, then I used another credit card and the transaction was accepted. After 2 days I checked my credit card statement and I was charged in the first card (the one which said "transaction denied). If t
Also after the booking I NEVER RECEIVED THE TICKET in my email!. Fortunately I took a picture of the ticket at the moment of the booking. What if I wouldn't take the picture?! Until now I haven't received the email with the ticket.
I don't know if the website was presenting problems or what. But I am really disappointed. If someone can help me to get back the ticket that was charged by mistake I would really appreciate it.

The Big Bus tour was a great way to see Miami and Miami Beach. It gave a great overview of the area. The only issue was finding were the bus left from the Central Station. The website did not make the location at all clear.
Worth every penny - very neat way to explore the city!
What a great way to get an overview of a very dynamic city.
The hop-on/hop-off is super easy!
This is totally worth your money and a great way to spend a day.
Awesome 👏 Service
Awesome 👏 Service. They picked us up at our port from a cruise 🚢 right to a city tour and then on to the airport. Great way to spend a few hours waiting for your flight. Everyone at BigBus was very helpful and are great communicators.
Great way to see Miami 1st timers
Great way to see Miami. We were able to cover a lot of territory that we would never seen being first timers to the area.
