Big Fire- False Advertising

Big Fire advertise goods for sale that they do not have in stock.
Warning, if they have something you really want, email them and ask if they have the item. Do not Order before this.
I wanted an Olive Jar they were advertising. I emailed them and the item is not in stock and is not available from "their" suppliers.
Avoid this lot.

Great company, Great Communication

I recently ordered 2 Extreme Lounging Beanbags in Berry. This particular colour is very hard to find as seems to be sold out everywhere and when i did find them with other companies - they cancelled my order. I ordered from BIGFIRE and waiting for my delivery to arrive. After a few weeks, when nothing arrived i contacted the company and got a reply instantly and they checked with the delivery company.

As i live in N Ireland - and with the red tape and new rules around the NI Protocol from shipping to NI from the mainland since Brexit- i fully understood the issues. Sue constantly kept me updated with the status of the order and my beanbags arrived in great condition and well packed.

When i highlighted an issue the company were over and above in their communication with me and kept me updated without having to ask. Excellent customer service and a joy to do business with.

AVOID! BIG FIRE or BIG LIAR ?

Siimilar experience with others - AVOID!

This company mislead regarding stock levels, regarding lead times and continually add excuse after excuse. Finally after 5 weeks, having ordered an apparently in stock item I recieved my refund - not without chasing for updates regarding my order and being fed a series of stories about bank holiday delays, shipment delays, supplier distribution delays and finally a production error which meant my item hadn't even been shipped from the manufacturer in the first place.

When you look at the other reviews telling similar stories you have to question what is going on and if this is a business you can trust? Although I have got my money back I do not have the product and could have ordered from another company and recieved in the interim.

All throughout this, the item I ordered but did not recieve has remained in stock and available to purchase!

Should've read reviews first

Should've read reviews first. Ordered firebowl, said it was in stock on website, got an email said that it was actually out of stock but some were on order. Waited 2 weeks received another email saying due to backlog they could not honour my order and would refund me. All in all a bad experience that i will not be repeating.

Same old story -AVOID.

Same old story - wish I'd read the recent reviews before placing my order.
BigFire show Kadai items as being in stock when they aren't but they 'expect to receive a stock from their supplier'.
I placed an order for in stock items which was not dispatched to me, yet they took my money at time of placing order, and still have it!
I called to ask status, to be told no stock, had been expecting some which didn't arrive, so they have to cancel my order (when would they have told me if I had not rung?!). Promised an immediate refund straight after the call. No refund came through.
Called the next day, no answer so left voicemail saying I expect refund same day as previously promised, requesting confirmation. No response, still no refund.
If it doesn't come through today, I'm placing this in dispute with my Credit Card Co.
I realise many companies are having issues due to C-19, but this is another reason for websites not to accept orders on out of stock items by showing them as being in stock. This is no excuse.
AVOID.

Waiting for all pieces since April

Ordered a Kadai set in April. Great product and easy delivery but two items were missing. Not a big deal I thought and emailed them as soon as we realised. They did not acknowledge our email. Waited four weeks to be generous due to COVID perhaps leaving them shorter staffed, and then sent a follow up to see if they could acknowledge my email. Two weeks later still no reply.

Would have been five stars if they had just acknowledged me as the product that arrived was brilliant, but it seems they have my money and now don't want to fulfill their side which leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Won't be ordering my other Kadai equipment from them.

After reading other rave reviews…

After reading other rave reviews ordered from Bigfire; followed up with a call shortly after to make sure order was ok; was informed one of the items was not in stock but the other item would be part of next dispatch cycle and will arrive by friday; called again on friday to check status; was told it was dispatched and would arrive on tuesday due to bank holiday; got a call a few hours later to say they have been let down by suppliers and would not be able to fulfil the order; when i questioned why i was told it was already dispatched I was told it was going to be dispatch that day, not already dispatched.

Will I be ordering from them again? Not sure. Doubt it.

Would have given one star for spoiling the long weekend but maybe need to get them the benefit of the doubt.

An absolute delight to the eye

An absolute delight to the eye, quality , great service and made paella on it last night it was sublime . A real bargain for sitting and cooking around a fire pit at night . We have a small hotel and restaurant on the coast and look forward to our guests enjoying the kadek .

Helpful, informative employees.

I telephoned prior to placing my order as i had a few queries. The person i spoke to was very informative and very helpful.
I then went on the place my order and delivery was very quick, within 3 days.
I would definitely recommend this company
