Major Scam Artists

Like so many of you on here, I also have been scammed. However, after the telephone conversation that sames to be a pattern, I cancelled my DD a few days after signing up. Today, several weeks after cancelling, I have noticed they have managed to take a payment - how? I've contacted my bank to make sure that no future payments, in the sum of £39.00, leave my account. I feel totally and utterly stupid! How could I have fallen for such s~@# - they literally didn't stop talking and I have now given them my account details. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS - WARNING!!

Had a lady call me talking very fast

Had a lady call me talking very fast.
Spelt my name by saying ciara apple tango hector echo indigo……
Told me Congratulations you have won the Amazon draw…( I had geniuenly entered a Amazon draw) but she then told me the prize was for 10 free lines of euro millions. And I would be in a syndicate of 150 people so even if my numbers didn’t win I would win a share of the jackpot money if someone else did. She told me not to forget her and buy her chocolates and champagne when I won.
As she read her t&cs I noticed she mentioned a direct debit of £39pm when I asked to opt out and cancel as I can’t afford that extra money and I’d rather purchase a lottery ticket via the national lottery app or shop as when I could her attitude changed!
I have emailed support @ biggestadmin .com requested to cancel my direct debit and subscription straight alway.
Also cancelled my debit card.

Utter garbage. Cheap tricks.

Beware anyone trying to get your details over the phone. Happy enough to give my email and postcode as they already had these details but seriously... The tone of voice in the agent went from flirty and sickly sweet 'your sound so young', 'you seem like a lovely person' (haha) and ''let's go shopping in the Hamptons with your winnings together' to a very annoyed tone when I said I didn't want to reveal my bank details or who I bank with. Definitely dodged a bullet here after reading all these reviews. Please don't fall for this garbage.

Lairs

I would give less stars if possible! My daughter was cold called and told she had entered a draw and won 10 free lines on the lottery and was guaranteed to win. Told they need her bank details to pay her winnings. Two weeks later an e mail stating they had set up her direct debit!
Now the battle begins to cancel it!
I have told her to contact the ombudsman and register a complaint.
A bunch of lairs.

This is a scam - do not engage

This is a scam. They ask for details for bank account, and then setup a direct debit from your bank to send them money each month.

There needs to be a minus start, as I wouldn't have given them 1.

BIGGEST Lotto scam...

Back in May/June 2020 I was cold-called and sweet-talked into subscribing at £39 a month in a moment of Covid-induced vulnerability. A South African lady spent a fair amount of time selling the wonders of the syndicate to me, even asking me to buy her a big box of chocolates if I were to win. Suffice to say I haven't won a jot to my knowledge. However, I have since checked on my account on their website, and have £12.93 sitting in my ‘Wallet’. I have tried to withdraw but you need at least £20.00 in its balance in order to do so!
Like many others, I feel embarrassed and cheated. To make matters worse, I’d completely forgot I had signed up until this week after checking my direct debits, and have paid over £300.

Don’t be like me and the many others that have been duped into false hopes. Don’t join in the first place, and CANCEL NOW if you’re within the 14-day cooling-off period. Otherwise, you’ll be contractually required to continue paying monthly while subject to a 30-day notice period. This can only be done by sending an email that Trustpilot will not show but can be found on biggest lotto's website.
I feel like sending them the BIGGEST box of chocolates I can buy, minus the chocolates, perhaps substituted with something else. But can’t be arsed.

After trying to give these the benefit…

After trying to give these the benefit of the doubt I have lost patience with them. Firstly a tech issue meant I was not entered into draws I was entitled to and even though they they put me into further draws it was very frustrating. However now instead of saying you need a minimum of 10 pound winnings to withdrawal which is disgusting in itself, they have changed it to 20 pound which must be illegal mid contract.

Dishonest Scam! Avoid at all costs!

My stepdad signed up to Biggest Lottos as I said I would pay for it for him, we were lead to believe that if we didn't win anything in the first 3 months, we would have the full amount refunded! Turns out that we have NEVER had any syndicates, nothing won and no money refunded! So far, i have paid £78.00!! Absolutely disgusting and totally dishonest. Spend your money elsewhere! I shall be making a formal complaint and taking this further.
