I’ve bought 4 pairs of pyjamas

I’ve bought 4 pairs of pyjamas, all the same size and make, however every pair have different length pyjama bottoms, one pair went up to under the arm pits, crazy fitting and no two pairs the same.

I recently bought a shirt and a pair of trousers from Big Matt’s Menswear, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The fit is perfect, the quality is excellent, and both items look and feel great. You can really tell the clothing is well made and designed with comfort in mind. The service was friendly and helpful too, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be shopping here again and recommending Big Matt’s to others!

I bought my Husband a Gilet and within three days it was here. Lovely quality but Hubby looks great in it. Well done Big Matts.

9-10xl shirts with no problems here

Extra large size (9-10xl) is sooo hard to find and so despite mixed reviews I took a punt and it paid off.
3 plain work shirts - good quality and as described - with tracked delivery arrived within the week. Could not be more satisfied. It is sad if a few mixed reviews trash the rep of a good supplier of hard-to-get stuff.

Update!

Three weeks ago yesterday, Thursday, 20th June, 2024, I placed an order with Big Matt's Menswear for two high viz (yellow and orange) gilets / waistcoats. The monies for the said garments, as you would expect, were deducted from my bank account at the same time the order was placed! Since then, though, I have been hit by the proverbial wall of silence! Daily telephone calls continuously go unanswered! The server, at Big Matt's Menswear end, is constantly down, so I am unable to contact this company via email! And, on top of that, Big Matt's Menswear has completely ignored the message I sent them via the Facebook messenger facility, too! So, based on the objective feedback I have just set out, it would appear that I have been duped! 100%! I never, ever thought that I would be the "victim" of a scam, but there's a first time for everything, I suppose!

Update! Monday, 29th July, 2024!

I have, at long last, received a few emails from Big Matt's over the past weekend (27/28 July, 2024) concerning the issues I have posted about above. I am mindful that, and I was informed about this at the time, one of the garments (the orange high viz gilet / waistcoat) had to be ordered from the manufacturer, and be delivered to Big Matt's, before it could be dispatched to me! But, 6-weeks on since I placed my order (20/06/2024) and paid for my items, I am still waiting! So, in a nutshell, I have requested that Big Matt's either dispatch my items before the end of this week (02/08/2024) or offer me a full refund! And then, once the matter has been satisfactorily concluded, I am minded to upgrade my review and be a tad more generous with my feedback. I will, of course, let you - the reader - know how I get on! Watch this space, then!

Further and final update: Tuesday, 6th August, 2024

I was expecting a full and final resolution with respect to the above - garments delivered or refund given - by Friday, 2nd August, 2024! But that day and date came and went without any resolution whatsoever! And so did Saturday, 3rd August, 2024! And so did Sunday, 4th August, 2024! And so did Monday, 5th August, 2024! And so here we are on Tuesday, 6th August, 2024 and I am still awaiting for goods that were ordered and paid for on 20/06/2024 to be delivered! No goods, then, and no refund either! I, like the rest of the population I suppose, am a busy individual and I don't really have the time or energy to keep chasing things up or writing and updating reviews! Suffice to say that I shall be sticking with my one star ⭐ review with respect to Big Matt's Menswear and that is only because, via this site, I couldn't give them a zero star rating! THE END!

Refund not given for returned item

Returned a pair of trousers which didn’t fit. All attempts to get a refund failed. Eventually got an email saying the company had gone through a restructuring and so wouldn’t be refunding my money. Despite the “restructuring” it continues to trade as before.

AVOID THIS "COMPANY"

If I could give it a minus star I would.
where to start
Paid for shipping 2-3 days no problems do not mind that, after purchasing found out it can take an additional 2-3 days because it comes from the supplier okay no problems...
2 weeks later still not items ? 2 emails, a support ticket, several phone calls still nothing ?
what a joke of a company.. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing
the only reason i got a response is because I had mentioned criminal actions of theft of money, trading standards and bank chargebacks which all would have cost them money !!

to any one looking to purchase anything for larger guys find a trustworthy site :)

My 'Go to' Supplier

The service is quick and easy with no fuss. From the last order, I'm keeping 1 item and returning another. I know from past experience that this will be equally simple. BM is now my 'go to' when I need to shop for clothes.

TOTALLY DODGY OUTFIT TO BE AVOIDED LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Tried phoning many times over couple of weeks as wanted info as their website not clear - very poor in fact. After much searching placed Order on line. They took 5 days to despatch where website says Orders placed before 2.30 pm [it was] would be Despatched same day !. OK they're busier than normal with run up to Christmas but 5 Days ?. Upon receiving Item it was wrong so phoned and no reply several times so emailed saying can you phone me only to receive auto email acknowledging receipt then later in day a standard email totally ignoring my request for phone back also saying their phone lines down and just standard instructions on doing return form and also saying they cant do return label as free portal down and I should pay £3.49 and they would refund. Ive seen what others say here where they haven't been refunded Postage Or even refund for lost or wrong Item so I wasn't falling for that one and emailed them telling them so. I also said as your lines are down call my Mobile from your mobile Or let me know when your phone lines are fixed and I will call you then -- I haven't heard back !!!.
As they are receiving so many Complaints to them BigMatts and their other Companies Uptheir Ltd and BigClothing4u I wonder can anything be done about this dodgy outfit and their sharp practices by reporting them to Trading Standards Or Who ?? either as individuals Or as a group.
According to Gov Companies House [free] main Director ,,, shown as Benjamin Pearson from 2018 to resigning 15th November 2023 and Julia Nelson current Director from 15 November 2023. What's going on ??!!.
Also shown on Gov Companies House is Uptheir Law Ltd purporting to be Solicitors and Pearson sole Director from 2021 until dissolved 14th March 2023.

Received my return but didn't refund…

Received my return but didn't refund me, I emailed them and they said they were backlogged and offered a credit note which I refused as the quality of items we received were poor quality. Since then they don't respond to my emails and no one answers the phones, it's been over 2 months now and can't get hold of anyone! Stay well away, poor quality items and even worse customer service!
