Take your money while knowing the item is not in stock

My bike failed its MOT for a faulty indicator. I searched everywhere and settled on bike parts triumph as they had one at a reasonable price.

Ordered and paid for the item - all good

Next day, I get an email to say that they are not in stock and the earliest I can get it was over 3 weeks from now.

That is a rubbish business model and should not be allowed. Now my money is tied up while I wait for them to process a refund

As stated on our website, ‘parts are available from the manufacturer within an indicative period of 5 to 15 working days, depending on the part and the production site’. We order directly from Triumph, which can cause delays when a part is not immediately in stock.

No other supplier had this part and…

No other supplier had this part and initially this company said the same, however the next day they emailed to say they had sourced it. Exceptional service, answered the phone and dealt with my query efficiently.
I would recommend them.

Illegally bad customer service

I made an order from this company for my engine rebuild. I then started my strip down, which took me just over a month. I could not get the new parts to fit, and after much research, and contacting the owners club etc, I found out that one part that they had sent me was manufactured incorrectly and was too big. I contacted them to arrange a refund, but they refused, on the grounds that I had the parts over a month. I explained that the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives me three months, they ignored all my further emails. However the faulty part 'disappeared' from their website. Avoid this company at all costs.

I got really good service

I read the reviews and started to panic. After 4 days I got communication that the parts were being shipped. Two days later they arrived - and the postage had been consolidated, as I had requested, with a refund (I had two orders).
Communication on email is not the quickest - but they are also not Amazon.
Very happy with the service and would use again

dumb rude box mover

seldom been bullied like from bike.parts before.

a simple question about technical specifications of a part not mentioned on the webshop, resulted in a "you agreed to terms and conditions, go sort out yourself the rest"

if you dont want to help me, ok, next.

Communication is really good but…

Communication is really good but unfortunately this is only positive comment I can make.
The part I ordered was advertised on the web site. The order and money was taken and thats where it ended.
I had to chase it up and did get immediate response every time.
The bottom is! They didn't have the part to send me, so why not stipulate this during the ordering process.

Would not recomend

Ordered a part from the company. They failed to send me the correct part. I didn't notice in the short time frame they gave so they refused to allow me to swap it for the correct one or return it. It was their mistake and the part has no shelf life so there is not reason it shouldn't be returned. Do not trust the company to send you the correct products or rectify their mistakes.

Don't bother

If you want something to be delivered outside UK, don't bother. Shipment takes ages (customs is expensive). Price of the parcel is a rip off. In the end delivery guy doesn't even bother to call you during delivery time.
Free tip stop using UPS.

I had a great experience with…

I had a great experience with bike-parts-triumph.com. I ordered a wing mirror for my Thruxton and the part was on back order. I got an email straight away from the Streetbike dealership in Halesowen to check whether I wanted to wait or cancel my order. I chose to wait and the mirror was delivered 10 days later.
Exactly the part I wanted - minimal fuss - good service.

Don't buy from this company

Don't buy from this company. They sent the wrong parts to me and did not refund me or send me the right parts out. Then said i could buy the right part from them and i would have to pay for the postage and packing which is £7.49 on top of the price of the item.
Far to expensive. I bought the parts from E bay for a lot less and free postage and packing.

They do not respond to answer phone…

They do not respond to answer phone messages or emails. The order always says pending and you don’t ever get your parts even though the website says parts in stock.
Had to try and get my money back.
Should of gone to the dealer.
One star is to much.
This ended up being the fault of Streetbike Birmingham, part of Bike parts Triumph
