My teenage children and I went on the West Møn and Island of Nyord cycling holiday which was wonderful. The app was essential for the directions so for anyone considering the trip don't leave without a fully charged phone and/or charger. Some of the rides were more challenging than we'd anticipated, especially when it was windy.

The island of Møn and Nyord has a lot of potential and beautiful sceneries. Unfortunately, not all these options are illustrated or mentioned in the info pack/route received at the beginning. We discovered many more and more scenic internal routes that are not mentioned. We discovered loved eating places that are not mentioned. We discovered many more beautiful corners in Stege that were not mentioned.

The accommodation was ok, but not really well clean when we arrived, in particular the kitchen and toilets. The lovely classic double windows are full of spiders, and trapped dead mosquitoes and flies in between the two windows.

Oh, and the quality of the rented bicycle was below average, especially the one of my 10 years old who found biking that bike more difficult.

Considering that in Denmark you can rent (very good quality) bikes anywhere, considering that accommodation is something that can be easily organised on-line independently, for me the only main reason to book a bike tour is to receive good tips on the place and the route. This was clearly not the case, and it looked clear that they were written by someone who has barely visited the place one.

With today’s technology, chat GPT could have prepared a much more interesting programme that the one I received.

All in all a lot of potentials, managed with mediocrity.

I had a wonderful experience with BikingPeople. I would definitely use them again. I chose a trip where I stayed at the same hotel for 4 nights and was given 5 different routes to bike. The hotel was a bit out of town and was well situated for riding. Hotel food was amazing as was the staff. I was given multiple electronic (and paper) maps to follow that included specific sites to visit. Highlights included the Hans Christian Anderson house/museum, beaches, farms and the Viking ship museum in Kerteminde.

We booked very late and were a little worried that it wouldn't work as described on the website. But everything was very well organised, with a good description of the route, very well located hotels (the last one and its surroundings are simply magnificent!) and a nice little surprise each day on arrival. The bikes were pretty good (they weren't quite the right size, but we were offered to exchange them). And of course not to forget: the beautiful scenery.
We highly recommend this tour.

Denmark is great for self guided biking because it’s beautiful, safe (mostly separate bike paths) and everyone speaks perfect English

Biking-people set up a flawless adventure, good hotels and reasonable suggestions for eating and miscellaneous attractions. We especially enjoyed craft beer (Aero bryghus) and smokehouses with herring.

Biking people provide a great cycling experience for our family in Copenhagen. Annabel was responsive in our initial communications. When we’re got closer to our trip we had to make a sudden change of plan as our son was unable to bike on his own. She quickly helped modify our itinerary and change our bikes. With her thoughtful route guides we were able to comfortably and safely experience Copenhagen by bike as a family. We were able to stay active during our vacation and make lasting memories.

The lodgings were clean and comfortable and provided all the amenities we needed. The breakfasts were amazing! Suggestions for dinner were terrific and we loved experiencing more of the smaller towns we stayed in.
We feel very fortunate to have had great rides, interesting cultural experiences and the pleasure of exquisite landscapes. We fell in love with Denmark and highly recommend BikingPeople to anyone thinking of a cycle trip in Denmark.

Taste of Denmark was a very interesting and well thought out tour. We enjoyed the daily activiities and experiences. The food was exceptional. The biking was challenging with varied surfaces and terrain. The visit to the Egholm Castle was a highlight.

Just back from a fabulous trip, A taste of Denmark with Biking People. The tour was well planned with plenty of time to enjoy the various booked activities and the cycling. We opted for E-bikes so we could explore further a field as we fancied, which meant we could relax more.

We had a great time with the north zealand bike trip. It was planned to do this trip earlier but due to covid it was postponed. Biking people gave all the possibilities to fix this right. Great service.

our biking tour in Denmark arranged through BikingPeople was fantastic. The arrangements work really well and the itineraries were well though out. We used E-bikes which made the experience more fun for us as we are not avid bike riders.
We intend going on more tours with BikingPeople in the future.
