Awful awful support. You will wait days, if not an entire week to hear back from customer service on time sensitive projects that affect everyone involved. This goes for both the creators and the clients. I’ve never seen anything like it. I don’t know if they simply don’t care or they need to hire more reps, but I’ve never seen customer support this bad. They also overcharge brands like crazy for videos that should normally just go to the creators. Just go to Upwork.

I like the platform (although be careful when ordering because it is not made very clear how the process works), but the creators have made us great videos.
That being said, their support is some of the worst I've experienced. We ordered 7 videos on Tuesday morning, and I didn't realize I needed to do them individually and did them together by mistake. We are in a bit of a rush to get the videos out for our campaigns this month.
Their chatbot is terrible, and their email support is even worse. I was connected with someone who seemed helpful, but had to submit the refund somewhere internally, which seems to be a blackhole.
It's now midday Thursday and still nothing has been refunded so I can order the rest of the videos and be done with this. It seems as though their entire company takes Thursdays off. After this batch of videos we will not be using Billo again.

The quality of the videos is not great. The talent pool also seems lacking, but they make it hard to search for talent as well, so you are stuck with who applies.
The worst thing is they auto approve videos and they don't do refunds if you pay for packages in advance, so be careful before spending large amounts.

The company may have started out good early but rapidly deteriorated. It became way more expensive with to the point where it became unusable. Then charges added beyond that for almost every little thing you'd want in your order. Want to work with any decent creator? Now they included a $40 charge. They do this after selling you on packages, positioned as a discount, but they really aren't because the gameplan is to sell you packages and then add on on the extra fees.
There is no discussion of strategy and no larger partnership discussions. We've since found other options that are less expensive and feature the same exact creators + more.

This company is complete trash. Don't use them EVER.
I ordered a video and the creator damaged our product during the video and we couldnt even use the video.
So we tell Billo and they basically told us it was too late to get a new one and we could "re order" and basically pay them again.
TERRIBLE COMPANY, STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS, go to Fiverr and hire someone personally, they do a better job anyways.

While the content provided by Billo consistently met our standards, our overall experience was marred by a significant issue with their credit expiration policy. We were dismayed to discover that credits purchased expire without any clear notification at the time of purchase. None of our representatives were informed about this policy, and when questioned, we were directed to the fine print buried within their terms.
Furthermore, our dissatisfaction grew when a representative recommended a package twice the size of what we actually needed. This larger package was marketed aggressively, only to later find out that a large portion of our credits had already expired.
The lack of transparency regarding credit expiration and the misleading advice from their representatives left us feeling undervalued as customers. Despite the quality of the content, these issues significantly overshadowed our experience with Billo. We hope they reconsider their policies and improve communication to provide a more honest and upfront service to future customers.

For one, the majority of their jobs are $25 & $30 for a video, but they charge the client at least $99… the creator is making $25, but Billo is getting at least $74. (You can’t knock the hustle though because creators are constantly signing up, Billo is getting a crazy ROI).
Secondly, they are the only platform that allows their hard working creators to be rated. I was brand new, getting a job everyday. I had only been on the app for 20 days and I had 16 jobs already. I was getting 5 star ratings and positive messages, but I got 1 - 4 star rating from a company… I have no idea why. I asked for feedback and they didn’t give it to me. As soon as my overall ratings dipped below 5 stars because of the 4 star rating, I stopped getting jobs all together. That’s wild…
My advice is to use other platforms and work with brands on your own through email. Filming and editing can be tedious. You need to be paid at least $150 for that kind of work. If you do use Billo, don’t get stuck on there for too long. Creators really are making hundreds off of 1 video everyday and striking thousand dollar deals with brands on their own. Put in your own work, network, gain experience, and do this without the help of a third party…. Your content is worth more than $25.

Their support is terrible, it takes so long. I asked for a certain type of video but got something else instead. It was approved without giving me a chance to request any edits, and now they are saying I can't. The user experience is bad, the platform is full of bugs, and I didn't realize that I had to ship out to someone. I somehow approved them without clicking that I approve them. This is weird, buggy and the support is bad.

I deposited 500$ for a package on their platform for a video, but in the end decided not to use them.
I asked for a refund, and the support has been surprisingly very helpful, giving me a full refund quite fast.
On this part, I could trust them again with some of my money in the future.

Terrible experience with Billo. We have hired two content creator and the videos we have received are less than average, one isn't even about our product, the creator just sent an old video (it was in her portfolio) and it's somehow been pre-approved by Billo. I'm waiting for a response, but it has been such a waste of time. I would recommend you stay away from it, I certainly wish I didn't pre pay for the credits.
