I absolutely love my little Biltong Box. The purchasing process was smooth and straightforward, and John was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout. When the original fan developed a noticeable buzz, he promptly sent a replacement lid fitted with a much quieter fan—excellent customer service.

The website is clear and easy to navigate, and it includes a great recipe that’s especially helpful for beginners.

A small note: the 12L box isn’t very deep, so you can’t hang long strips of meat vertically. I’ve had great success cutting shorter pieces or hanging longer strips horizontally. Both methods work well, though you need two to four additional hooks beyond the six provided.

All in all, it’s a worthwhile purchase that will give you a delicious taste of home again and again.

We got a mini biltong dryer and it works great. We cut the beef into smaller strips and it dried within 2 days. Great for a small batch. John was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend getting one of his biltong dryers!!

Using the biltong box is so easy , but the best part is after it's made it is the best biltong I've eaten , not only is it easy to make but the box it's self is so well made .
