No working way to cancel phantom subscription

Placed an order and took care not to subscribe. Three months later they charged my card again for my supposed subscription. Supposed customer support seemed to be a useless AI bot that sent a link to cancel non-existent subscription that just took me through a circle of links that never seemed to cancel. Likewise their website links to cancel were just an endless loop with no out. Failure of more than one method infers fraud not a glitch.

Saw the reply. Complete misinformation. I tried every method of cancellation listed and none worked. When multiple methods are not working properly it is not a coincidence but a business model. I sent multiple messages to info@biorootlabs and was repeatedly sent non-working links, then finally promised contact from support which never happened. I routinely turn down subscription discounts because I have had so many experiences with bad business practices like those I encountered at Biorootlabs. Unless it was well hidden I did not and would not subscribe and give them power to use my credit card.

We’d also like to provide some clarity around how the subscription option works. During checkout, there is an option displayed just above the “Add to Cart” button that reads:
“Save 20% with automatic refills – Shipped every month. No commitment. Cancel anytime.”
This is where customers can opt into a subscription. Once selected, it sets up a monthly shipment of the same product, there are no additional or hidden fees, just the recurring order.

Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled at any time through the customer portal, which is accessible via the “Manage Subscription” tab located at the top of our website. Once a subscription is cancelled through this portal, no future orders are processed or shipped.

That said, what you’ve described, especially the difficulty cancelling and being stuck in a loop, is not the experience we want for any of our customers, and it’s something we take very seriously. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this may have caused.

Buyer BEWARE when placing your order!!

When placing an order with this company, BEWARE that there is a tick-box for repeat orders already ticked on the order page so if you don't want a repeat order every 3 months you will need to UNTICK this box!!! I have had to change my payment card as they were persistent in renewing my order every 3 months when I did not knowingly sign up for that and despite an email sent to cancel the repeat subscription, they just ignored my email. A note to Biorootlabs, I believe that if you change this 'option' on your order page to be more transparent to the customers you will get a lot less negative reviews. Just my opinion.

Turmeric tablets : great product

Turmeric has been around for years. This product has all of the ingredients to assist in the process of distributing it into your body. It does take a month or 2 of taking the tablets with meals & therefore you do have to commit to taking it for a while before you feel the benefits but it’s perfect to travel with when you wish to add it into your vitamin container as well as every day use. I will keep ordering it because it works. Great product to add to my daily doses.

The site is embedding a code for re-ordering in your Paypal account, inspite of implicitely ordering once-off. Of course I discovered it only after a while on my Visa bill. Needless to say this wonder drug doesn't help....my inflammatory situation didn't improve a nano bit.

Torn miniscus pain free

I have a minor torn miniscus which would flare up and cause pain and stiffness. Since taking Turmeric daily, I have not had a flare up in over 9 months now. I am

I could not thank this company enough, there turmeric capsules have taken the pain I was experiencing with arthritis in my hand and knee, completely gone. It is all down to what ingredients they put into the capsules.

Stay away from this company

The product was no better than other turmeric supplements. Customer service is terrible. My order was not moving through the system after a mailing label was created. Customer service appeared to be a robot, always repeating the same message, that someone would get in touch, but no one ever did. The order was finally shipped after I opened a dispute on PayPal! 3 weeks after being billed, I received it.

Recommended relief for people in their Golden Years.

As a lady approaching 75 I was in pain and waited for a hip replacement for twenty seven months and finally couldn't beat the pain any longer so paid privately to have a total hip replacement I December, this was the cause of me going towards taking Turmeric with Curcumin which I found brought great relief to joint pain and tension. Would certainly encourage people in their golden year's to invest in a daily dose long term. I highly recommend them.

This company will steal your money - they are unscrupulous - BEWARE of ordering from them

I placed an order for these capsules late last year, 2 bottles, plus one "free" for £42.99 inc delivery. I took them but they made little difference to me, I wasn't surprised really. What did surprise me was that in March they announced they were sending me some more and had charged my debit card. I told them I didn't want them, repeatedly, but they sent them anyway and I couldn't stop the payment. I have been trying to get them to take them back ever since. They keep fobbing me off, lying to me, evading my request for a UK returns address (They were dispatched in the UK!). In short, I have capsules I don't want, they have taken money from that that I didn't authorise and because they are Yanks, there doesn't seem much I can do about. BEWARE this is an unscrupulous company!

Here I am again

Here I am again. For the third time. Ordered in January. No delivery. They have replied to my previous reviews on but, after numerous e-mails back and forth, always offering apologies and promises of refunds I still don’t have my money back. The last e-mail was from “Joshua” around 13th March, saying the last refund action had not been processed correctly so authorised it again. Over two weeks later, still no refund and no response to my emails. Absolutely shocking.

Update following your reply as below. My bank has confirmed no pending refund. You are clearly taking money from people who have ordered a product and never received it. Shameful
