I was fortunate enough to adopt Birdie a few months ago, and I am more than thrilled! I never realized when the right time to ventilate is, and I was surprised how often one sits at home with poor air. It's somehow even fun to take care of Birdie so that he's always up. Since then, I've also had a lot fewer headaches... an incredibly great product and pretty too!!

Found this via Instagram and we think this idea is so cool! works well and is a real eye opener that we need to breathe some fresh air into the house!

Easy orddeling, Quick delivery. Easy installation.
The Birdie works fine and it’s been an eyeopener how often during the day working from home you should refresh the air.
As it is a pricy product, we would like the option of moving it around the house, but that requires multiple wall mounts which are not sold seperately, hence the four and not five stars.

Update Jan 22nd 2024:
The team at Birdie made me aware that additional Wall mounts are available and providdd them so my rating is updated.

Great idea and realisation: especially as it works without digital surveillance technology! It's also a nice metaphor to use a bird (canary) as an air guard - just like in the mines in the old days. We still have two Birdies with the original name and are very happy with them. The service is great too! Thank you and keep up the good work!

Great design! It soon became a good habit to look out for a hanging bird. The kids love it and keep a close eye on its position 🐤 so now we have a much better indoor climate 😊

I have seen the Birdie in an add. I loved the simplicity and the fun way of showing something very essential. The buying process was 'ok' but the delivery was a disaster. But I know that Birdie is not responsible for the actions of the delivery person.
the product was boxed in a good shipping box and when opening you have directly the Birdie packaging. I opened the box and it's very nice with the window style box. When opening it further I saw the the plastic style packaging was damaged... I checked the Birdie and looked OK. Reading trough the manual and checking the videos I started charging my Birdie and installing the wall mount. A red light in the Birdie is lit when charging it up. The light was off after a few hours and tried to mount it. It's not very easy to mount it to the wall mount... It's a bit of a weird system where the wall mount triggers the bird. When finally on the wall the bird got up and than lowered immediately... This was for me a sign the air quality in my home was very bad. So I opened up the windows immediately. After 20 minutes the bird was still down and my home was ice-cold so I knew new fresh air was in the room but still the bird didnt go up. I looked for a new place to hang Birdie did that and again it got up and went immediately down. So again I took the birdie down and took it outside this time. Fresh air good air and clean air. I triggered the birdie by putting the wall mount in it and it got up. After a few seconds it went down immediately again... So I think my product is DOA. So nice that you dont have any app, any screen, any indication ... but now I cannot look into it if it's my fault or whatsoever...

I got my two Birdies as part of the Kickstarter campaign. Love the idea of having such a good looking, no-fuzz, yet helpful device supporting my family and myself in ensuring a good air quality in our home. And in fact, we rely on them daily. When my Birdie got sick with the 'bird is stuck' illness, Birdie's customer support was right there and got me a replacement in no time. Communication was swift and Theo even took the time to jump on to my bird-related puns.

Birdie is an excellent illustration of how helpful technology can be combined with good design! The lovely little guy is an adorable addition to any interior and will be extremely useful in reminding me to open the windows frequently, especially during the chilly winters here in the Alps!
A special thanks to Theo from the customer service staff, who is the most helpful person you will ever meet! He handled my case with great care and patience to ensure that it was fixed in the best way possible.
I cannot recommend both the product and the company highly enough; they are truly a breath of fresh air (pun intended)!

I reached them out on instagram they replied fast to my message. I like how friendly they were, it was very pleasent experience from my point of view. I recommend the company and also the little Canairi (Birdie) too. It detects right away you put it on the wall and it is kinda fun.

Purchased via Kickstart and very pleased with the product.. a very simple design fitted in well with the room.
Had an issue and engaged with Customer Support. Their response was amazing and as a person who loves technology which sometimes fails, I am happy to say that the support received and the response time were the best ever.. Wow, my bird came to life! When the CanAIRi first arrived I was in love with the beautiful packaging and immediately took the little guy out of his boxed cage.

I live in a congested city (Hollywood California) near a over used freeway that makes the air quality quite miserable at times so I was disheartened when my little bird dropped immediately letting me know I indeed was in need of some fresh air. It took a good week of airing out my space til it happened… UP the little yellow bird of happiness popped up!!!! AMAZING

Now I am on a mission to keep the air moving to help keep the little guy upright on his perch… what an awesome invention.

Not only is the Canairi adorable, but it has quickly proven its worth by alerting us when to take action to correct the air quality in the rooms we live in the most.

Customer service is prompt and friendly, special requests were handled without delay.

I’m using my canairi for some weeks now and I’m completely fascinated. Not easy to keep the canairi upwards in my working room, but I’m doing my best. I love the design and I love the simplicity.

Great little device. No chichi, just this adorable little birdie. You feel obliged to open the window because it looks so sad, when it's hanging upside down. Very intuitive, wonderful work.

He feels himself great in Hungary. Telling the truth, we are already ventilating more than before. So it worked for us!!!
