Birdsong is a trailblazer for ethical consumption. I love what they do. I have bought several things from them. I just bought their Perfect Wide Leg Trousers. They really are perfect.

It makes good quality clothes that can be altered to fit, for instance shortening. Also like the use of women from deprived groups who are paid fair wages to make the clothes

Good customer service, lovely product

I like the ethical ethos of the company and when the earrings I had ordered as a present for my daughter arrived, I was really impressed with the quality of the product. Delivery was prompt and I liked the fact that instructions for care of the jewellery were enclosed. Packaging was pretty and minimal. I am very happy with the whole experience.

Such a shame - I really wanted this to work. For such an expensive dress, I’m going to have to spend a lot more on alterations - arms far too long and it’s gapey across the chest. I buy these sizes elsewhere without the same issues. Text had indicated that the wrap around style gave flexibility on size, but not whether this applies for bigger or smaller. Having ordered the bigger size I can see it doesn’t adjust well smaller. Dress is no longer on website so i can’t check the text /picture but I thought it said drapey fabric (which is actually a bit stiff) and the colours looked more vibrant in the photo.

Brilliant, ethical company with beautifully embroidered t-shirts. Fantastic and personal customer service when I contacted them about a t-shirt order and when it would arrive (the embroiderer was sick with Covid!) and received my order very soon after. Everything is made to order so it does take time, but so worth it for the quality and knowing that everyone that works for Birdsong is paid a living wage and treated well.
