used these guys for a bicycle service at work for the third year in a row, nothing to complain about and will use them again! the mechanics are almost TOO nice, always taking in extra people in need, even if they dont have the time...
Fast repair and good information about what needed to be done and why. The gentlemen were pleasant and helpful.
Slow delivery time. 2 weeks and counting for a pair of sunglasses. No idea when they'll show up.
Worst possible experience throughout.
Despite a 3-6 days stated delivery time, the bikes arrived 23 days after I placed the order.
Be aware this is a Norwegian company but with warehouses in Sweden so the bikes have to re-enter Norway and be customs-checked! Mine were stuck for 2 full weeks without any information.
Birk's only reply until I raised my voice: "there is nothing we can do about it".
Finally, when the bikes did arrive, one of them had a faulty back tyre. Again it took several emails before I got a reply from the company and the offer of a penance to get it fixed in the closest shop, 1h' drive away.
I recommend avoiding this company.
Company does not follow national laws and try to scam theire customers out of paying a fee for returning an item.

Really impressive service (especially for Oslo!). I purchased a bike trainer from Birk and waited a whole season to try to use it. I couldn’t figure out how to get the gears properly aligned, and Kim actually came out to my home and adjusted it for me. He also helped me adjust it back at the end of winter when I took it off the trainer. He even came up with a very clever solution for adjusting my saddle. Every interaction with the employees at Birk has been pleasant, even when they were quite busy. I highly recommend purchasing from them!
