Booked carpark 4, paid for carpark 4 which understandably is more expensive than carpark 5. Got there and there is a sign saying carpark full, use carpark 5. In a right flap trying to park. If i book parking for a flight i expect a slot to be available otherwise don't take my money.
Please do not use Birminhaam Airport parking. I booked early for a trip abroad for surgery. On arrival I was told it had not been booked, no records at all even though they had taken money. I had to pay again. The person I spoke to said they would sort out a refund as their mistake. She didn't. Came back from my trip to discover I needed to pay another nearly £400 to get out of the car park. This was, eventually waived and I was given a reference to the first booking (you know, the one they couldn't find). I have tried and tried to get a refund. Birmingham Airport say it is not their fault. If I was really stupid it would have cost me £600 for 5 nights parking. Just don't use them, it is not worth it at all. A 50 mile taxi trip twice would have cost less.
